So I downloaded Kau at the Hanbiton site, installed it, removed the ActiveX control and reinstalled that. But I have the constant problem that when I click Start Audition, nothing happens and I get a little pop up saying IE has stopped working. If anyone could help me, it'd be much appreciated. Thank you.

you just have to keep trying.
windows is trying to start the program from ie but it freezes because it doesn't have a clue what it's doing.
it'll work eventually.

How many times did it take for it to work for you then?
Just wait til the page fully loaded completely before clicking the start button. and you have to install necesseary files from the website. like the active X control etc. and you must use IE 7

That wasn't the problem. I was using Vista with the User Account Control option turned on. I turned it off and now it works perfect. Thanks though

Game is not compatible with Windows Vista, you should use Win XP
And use the Internet Explorer 7 browser to run Patch
Not Active, you will not get the patch when you press the Start Game
