hmmm, may i know whether there is any other browser other than internet explorer that can allow me to play the game? this is because when i click on the start button on the website, it doesn't seems to load. and it crash after that. =(
I don't think so. As far as I know, it only works with IE7. The immediate help I can do for you is to do the following instructions:
1. Open your IE7 browser.
2. Click Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons...
3. On the Manage Addons window, select Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit) from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the ExcuteHbsAudition Class plugin and click Delete.
5. Hit OK and restart your browser.
6. Reopen the X3 website, and allow it to reinstall the plugin.
7. BE PATIENT. Wait for the patcher window to load, should the browser freeze during installation, JUST WAIT.

Also, if you have PeerGuardian2 running or any other programms that block IP's, deactivate them or else the Patcher won't show up
