For many years, people in North America have been requesting for a club Nintendo just like what the Japanese have. This year on October, it was announced that they were bringing it to North America for December release. As of 2 days ago the site is now live!

What is Club Nintendo?
Club Nintendo was a program that started in Japan by the popular gaming company, Nintendo. It was a way for people to register their games and earn points and trade in the points for items!

What items were offered?
Numerous items are offered especially on the Japanese version which ranged from soundtracks to cards and even games! Just take a look at the Japanese site! http://club.nintendo.jp/member/exec/entr...iPrivilege
The Japanese like swapping their items by the way.. they have or well had others as well.. as for the North Americans.. well we got alittle of what they have there

Wait.. I have some Nintendo games.. should I bother registering them?
ABSOLUTELY! Actually the North America version has a thing where if you register a game that was newly released, you can take a survey and earn even more points!

Do the points expire?
Unfortunately, yes.. after 2 years.. but hey.. that's a long time..

Is there benefits for certain amount of points?
Yup, there is! If you gain a certain amount of points, you can bump your status to a higher level and get free bonus items. But you can only get this within one Club Nintendo year!

I hate the star limit...
All my stars went poof when the expire time came in... So I had to get some stuff >.>... Now I want Stars for Wii Points.
And yes, Europe already had it for years lol.

Yes.. but Europe's system only offers music and wii points and if you don't have a wii.. sucks for you.. and why did this article take so long to appear.. I thought it didn't go through myself lol.. right.. anyways.. I perfer the merchandise they offer.. I've had my eyes on some for a while ^^.. I think I'm gonna get the game and watch collection just for fun =D and then maybe a stylus pack and a set of cards

Um.. you live in Europe right.. cause usa one uses coins and um right i calculated that if i register all my games i got about 900 coins =D

The Europe version also gives out Caps and games and stuff, but Not alot.

Though I should actually use ''Dutch Version'', because Every land/country has a different collection.

Yea.. but um.. I'm guessing you can't register your virtual console games and games you buy from the wii shop for points? Anyways.. I've always had my eye on something from club nintendo japan.. the super mario galaxy soundtrack.. god i loved that game..
