Somebody help me! I can't stop playing this game...
Rock Band is basically an instrument game that involves playing guitar, bass, drums, or vocals. It combines the ethics from Guitar Hero, Drum Mania, and Karaoke Revolution, and puts them all in one.
The new sequel provides new features such as Battle of the Bands, where you take on challenges selected by Harmonix and other fans to get ranked. New challenges are posted almost daily.
For those that have played Rock Band before will now be able to save space on roster since you can now make one character play any instrument in Rock Band 2.
Although there is no drastic change from the prequel regarding gameplay strategies and graphics, it's still enjoyable. I've played it for 7 straight hours without breaks, which proves its theory: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Another thing is, Harmonix has redeveloped the Rock Band Community Web site. If you link your RockBand.com ID to your game, you will be able to take pictures of your bands and characters, and put them on merchandise to buy them. Would you like a 40cm figurine of your character?
