Everytime I feel like wanting to play Audition, I always have to log on to the game managers web site, and click on their crappy START button just to download and run a launcher that opens up their patcher!
More and more of these are coming in later and later servers around the world, and it sickens me. What happened to just simply running the patcher and logging into the game IN-GAME!?
What are these managers getting at for making you log into THEIR website just to play this?
The new kind of game launchers using the website give some sort of additional hacking protection to the game? (Especially when it comes to server-sided hacking. The kinds where hackers hack to post GM bulletins or hack cash.) That's what I heard anyway from some people.
I don't think it is a big trade-off because the new kind of launcher is not extremely troublesome, even the old kind of patchers may malfunction at times where spyware comes into concern. I like the new file check although it seems to not be working right recently for 6 files.
Which servers are you refering to by the way?
I've never really found a problem with games like this. In fact it is kind of nice not to have to log in once you've opened the game; not sure why that should really make a difference, but it does.
What's so troublesome about it? It doesn't take me that long just to log onto a website to play Audition; I'm usually on the internet anyway so it's actually kind of convenient.
Am I missing something here...?
