So.... after a long time MIA-ing from GoAudition forums, I came back and would like to share this game I liked to play. Smile

みんなのGOLFポータブル2 / Everybody's Golf Portable 2 / Hot Shots Golf 2
(I'm playing the Euro version of this game.)

This game is a sequel of the Minna no Golf series in PSP. For this version, they added 6 new courses; Nakagawa Public, Central Golf Square, Michinoku Pass, Gamelan Island, El Andes and Fortress Yards. Apart from new characters, you can also obtain characters that existed in the previous version.

There are also new features in this version. First, the Full Power Mode. By using a 1W, press the square button again and you can go even further, without knowing how long it will land. xD

Another thing to note is about bunny and turtle shots. I think Clap Handz has removed the skull shots, probably because its too powerful. Bunny/turtle shots are useful in some ways.

Here are some of my shots that I recorded it. ;D

I am also playing online. If you have any chance, just find Alvin (not my real name), that's me. Smile

If any of you guys played this as well, or any other versions of it (PSP or PS), do share please. ;D
do you have a psp slim?
because if you could connect it to the tv and use a tv tuner to record it by there for better quality
but if you dont i know there is a program that allows people to record right off the psp's screen but i forgot it
Mine's a PSP Slim, but all I know is that I can connect to the computer using RemoteJoy. o-O
Here's my own guide for people who have difficulty playing some maps.

Gamelan Island Resort.

Basically its a beach resort themed golf course. Golfers who come here can enjoy swimming there after a game there. (In real life that is.)
What really makes this famous is the layout area? zit is mixed with a variety of OB/WH areas, especially for Par 3 holes.

Difficulty : 6/10, 7/10 (Regular, Mirror)
I would give it a 7/10, 8/10 as it has roughly the same difficulty as Royal & Links course. But thankfully, the winds there are generally mild, 2m-5m winds.

Hole 1
Regular: 290y+ drivers can go over the OB water body. However, any rabbit/turtle or poor control shot will result in disaster.
As for the first fairway that ends at 270y out, don't overshoot it. Or you will be left with a really ugly rough/bunker shot.

Mirror: Same as above except forget about crossing over the OB water. The first fairway should end at 300y.

Hole 2
Regular: Short but equally challenging.
You may go over the downhill cliff if you have enough drive.
TIP: There is a way to green-in-one shot, but its recommended to hit a Rabbit shot in Full Power mode to overpass the beach.

Mirror: Same as above except say the green-in-one a goodbye!

Hole 3
Regular: Gawd, I really hate this hole alot. Before reaching the green there is an OB river. Your shot must be perfect. Any undershot will result in an OB.

Mirror: Same as above.

Hole 4
Regular: There are 2 ways to do it. One is to either go out to the fairway or go the the right side of the small fairway right after the road.

If you decide to use the road trick, curve away if a tree is blocking your second shot. Any undershooting will result in beach hit.

Mirror: If you go the regular way, it will be hard to get an Eagle.

Hole 5
Regular: Easier than Hole 3, but with a downhill slope at the edge of the green. If you are not careful, you could roll off to OB.

Mirror: Same as above.

Hole 6
Regular: You can either stick to the fairway, or you can cross over the OB and bunker to the fairway on your left. If you want to crossover with 300+y driver, try not to overshoot to the rough. Or you will end up with a very bad shot to green. (The green side is an OB sea.)

Mirror: For those who want to crossover, curve your shot to avoid hitting the tree and getting an OB. Only for 300y+ drivers.

Hole 7
Regular: You can keep on the fairway or you can use the road trick to get onto a small section of the fairway. Keep in mind though, any poor control shot will result in WH.

Mirror: Same as above.

Hole 8
Regular: Make sure you have enough drive to overpass the OB ravine area.
You can try to make a green-in-one, but watch out for several bunkers guarding it.

Mirror: Forget about making a green-in-one.

Hole 9
Regular: This is really difficult to get an Eagle. What I recommend is to hit a Rabbit shot in Full Power mode to gain extra distance. (Watch out for a huge bunker behind the cliff.) You may end up in a really bad lie, so try not to undershoot the green to avoid WH.

Mirror: Same as above.

Hole 10
Regular: Beware of bunkers at the fairway.
You can go over the OB padi fields for 300y+ hitters, but any rabbit/poor control shots will end up in a disastrous stroke.

Mirror: Don't even think about going over the field.

Hole 11
Regular: OK this hole sounds really scary because the green is surrounded by the padi fields. However, it is still managable unlike Hole 3.

Mirror: Same.

Hole 12
Regular: Beware of 2 big bunkers ahead. If your drive is low, you might be blocked by a temple, so try to curve accordingly to avoid hitting it.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 13
Regular: Wow, this Par 5 is really scary, but otherwise the easiest to manage an Eagle.
For 275y+ hitters, you can go over the huge OB sea area to get on the fairway. Be careful of a bunker at the side of the fairway.

Mirror: Same thing, except now a tree is blocking your way if you decide to cross over. So curve it accordingly.

Hole 14
Regular: You need at least 270y+ driver to get onto the higher elevation fairway. At the same time, don't overshoot to a bunker ahead.

Mirror: Same thing but you need a 290y+ driver now.

Hole 15
Regular: This one is easier to make a green-in-one. However, do take note that any bad bounce on the green will render the orb out to the fairway.

Mirror: Same thing. You still can green-in-one. (Only for 300y+ drivers)

Hole 16
Regular: Another scary-looking Par 3. Just don't overshoot it because the upper-side of the green is downhill all the way to the ocean.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 17
Regular: You can cross over the temple area with 280y+ drives. Just don't hit the highest temple-looking building or risk a WH/OB inside the area.

Mirror: Same thing but you need 300y to cross over.

Hole 18
Regular: A straight Par 5 to finish off. I recommend you to hit the right side of the road to bounce all the way to the fairway. It is the hardest Par 5 to manage an Eagle in this map.

Mirror: Same thing.

More to come~
El Andes G.C. Hole 2 Hole Guide

Difficulty: 7/10, 8/10 (Regular,Mirror)

It is found withing the ruins of the Andes mountains. It may be famous for treacherous cliffs, but what is really famous is the huge difference between Regular and Mirror tee. It is rather huge, thus taking a huge toll on those using Novice characters for Mirror Tee.

Recommended drive : 280y or higher

Wind: 0m to 8m

Hole 1 Par 4
Regular: Keep on the fairway. You may go up to the top fairway for 300y+ hitter. Any undershoot will result in a bad lie/OB at the side.

Mirror: Forget about going to the top fairway.

Hole 2 Par 3
Regular: A downhill bunkerless Par 3. Just make sure not to undershoot or overshoot, it is surrounded by OB areas.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 3 Par 5
Regular: This is pretty tricky to get an Eagle. To do that, you need to aim to your left down to the edge of the first fairway ending at 275y. From there, you have to use a Wood to get to the green. Any screwed shots, and you're finished.

Mirror: The first fairway ends at 290y.

Hole 4 Par 4
Regular: This will be hard if you are using drives below 280y+. There are two ways, either to aim at the left fairway, or use power mode to get onto the slopy right fairway.

Mirror: An annoying 500y+. Good luck in getting the green for a Birdie.

Hole 5 Par 4
Regular: Aim REALLY carefully for 270y drivers. The section of the fairway is small, and if you are not careful, you will end up in a drink/OB water.
295y+ hitters may go over the OB area, but don't hit a rabbit/turtle shot.

Mirror: Forget about going through the OB area, use the bridge instead to cross over.

Hole 6 Par 3
Regular: I particularly hate this hole, because any undershooting will end up in a bunker. Overshooting though will cause the ball to roll downwards to a rough.

Mirror: Same thing, but the yard difference is huge.

Hole 7 Par 4
Regular: This is a really scary hole, because there is a huge OB gap between the fairway and the pin.
Try to aim 268y out on the flat fairway between the bunker and rough area. From there on, it should be easy.

Mirror: The flat fairway is now 290y+ out. And another annoying 500y+ Par 4.

Hole 8 Par 4
Regular: OK, this is the tough Par 4. 290y+ hitters can go over the OB marsh onto the fairway, ending up with just a SW shot to the green. If you think you can't, lay up at the right side of the fairway and continue on.

Mirror: 300y+ hitters should have no problem doing this.

Hole 9 Par 5
Regular: If you have 275y or below drive, don't cross over the ravine. at 300y out, there are 2 small bunkers waiting ahead, so try to avoid it as you can. From there on, the height difference to the hole is quite huge and low, so don't overshoot it.

Mirror: Same thing but the bunker is now out of the way. (Around 320y)

Hole 10 Par 4
Regular: This one should be easy. There are 2 options to make this hole, so its up to you.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 11 Par 4
Regular: Mid drivers, beware. There are 3 small bunkers to watch out for in the middle of the fairway.
285y hitters can go over the OB drop to the safer fairway.

Mirror: You need a 295y hitter to cross over.

Hole 12 Par 3
Regular: This may be a beautiful waterfall scene, but this hole is full of OB areas. Just don't undershoot it.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 13 Par 4
Regular: Pretty simple map? Think again. This hole is blocked by a small mountain on either ways. So, curve accordingly to avoid hitting it.

Mirror: Same thing

Hole 14 Par 4
Regular: OK, this one is another tough hole. You need at least 280y drive to get onto the fairway further up. Be careful not to go too much to one side though, its an OB area!

Mirror: Good luck, you might have an 80% chance to use a Wood to get on green for a Birdie.

Hole 15 Par 5
Regular: Pretty short but extremely uphill. Other than a really horrible lie, there's nothing to worry about. It's quite easy to get an Eagle provided you chose a correct club to get on green-in-2.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 16 Par 4
Regular: One advice, do not overshoot. The fairway ends at 290y and a lake will be waiting for you there. What's more, it is slanted downhill, so use a lower club to avoid rolling into the WH.
Once done, you may be blocked by some tall trees. And, the putt there is really hard.

Mirror: Same thing, but it ends at 310y.

Hole 17 Par 3
Regular: Wow, a really small patch of green, and a picture perfect of a bunker from high above. Just hit a SBS to stick onto the green.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 18 Par 5
Regular: Somehow this is the easiest to get an Eagle in this map. What you can do is to roll over the small road to another fairway. It should give you an easy attempt for Eagle putt or Albatross chip-in.

Mirror: Same thing, you still can do this shortcut!
Fortress Yard is the hardest map to play on. Not only do you have to deal with strong winds, but the greens are not slope-friendly either. Trust your instincts whenever you are dealing with mid/long putts. Even with a 1 meter putt, you still can miss it if you don't observe the slope carefully!

Difficulty: 9/10, 10/10 (Regular, Mirror)
Recommended drive: 295y or higher

Hole 1 Par 4
Regular: There are two bunkers lying just ahead of the bunker between 280y to 310y. Aim for the fairway gap there.
If you are blocked by a tall tree, curve accordingly to avoid hitting it.

Mirror: Same thing. The bunkers are 300y to 330y out.

Hole 2 Par 4
Regular: Beware of numerous bunkers around the first fairway.
300y hitters can cross over the OB area to the second fairway. Any poor control shots can result in a disaster.

Mirror: Forget about crossing over the OB area.

Hole 3 Par 4
Regular: There are three ways. Stick to the fairway, go down to the other fairway slanting downwards, or use the road trick to get onto another fairway.

Mirror: Same thing but forget about going to the slanted fairway.

Hole 4 Par 5
Regular: Here, you need to hit a SLBS (Super Left-Backspin) to stick the ball onto the really tough fairway. Once done, the second shot will not be that easy, so take your time adjusting.

Mirror: You need to hit a SRBS now. (Super Right-Backspin)

Hole 5 Par 3
Regular: A bunkerless Par 3. Don't undershoot though, because there is a deep rough 190y out.

Mirror: Same thing. The deep rough is now 200y out.

Hole 6 Par 4
Regular: Pretty short Par 4, you can cross over the OB and river area to get close to the green. (Try not to overshoot to the rough/close to bushy area.)

Mirror: Same thing, you still can do the shortcut.

Hole 7 Par 3
Regular: Evenly leveled Par 3, but take note of the steep slope just before the green.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 8 Par 4
Regular: 280y hitters may cross over to the fairway further down. Beware though, your ball could roll down to the wide sand at its side,

Mirror: You need a 300y hitter to do the same trick.

Hole 9 Par 5
Regular: My advice, stay on the fairway. Any landing on rough/bunker and say goodbye to Eagle putt.
Try to hit a Rabbit shot to go even further, and an easier approach for Eagle putt.

Mirror: This is really tough to get an Eagle putt now.

Hole 10 Par 4
Regular: There is a bare ground sticking between the 2 fairways. Your second shot might get blocked again, so curve accordingly.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 11 Par 3
Regular: A really huge drop to the green. Don't overshoot, because there is a huge lake waiting after the green.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 12 Par 5
Regular: OK, this is very difficult to get an Eagle. To do that, use 3W for 300y hitters to get onto the long fairway. Then, use a Wood to hit a SLSS (Super Left-Sidespin) to pass through the forest to get on the green.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 13 Par 4
Regular: You can go onto either side of the fairway, but at one side of the fairway its slanted to the river, so do be careful.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 14 Par 3
Regular: Quite a steep uphill Par 3, so don't undershoot it.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 15 Par 4
Regular: 300y hitters can cross over the bunker to get closer to the green. Otherwise, go to the right and stick onto the fairways filled with 3 bunkers.

Mirror: Forget about crossing over.

Hole 16 Par 4
Regular: Aim to the right of the fairway. From there, curve accordingly to avoid hitting a tall tree just before the green.

Mirror: Same thing.

Hole 17 Par 4
Regular: Aim away from a tall shrub. From there, it should be an easy approach to green.

Mirror: Same thing, and the tall srhub is out of the way.

Hole 18 Par 5
Regular: Prolly the easiest hole to get an Eagle in this map despite the assumed distance of 600y. Just align your shot with the road and hit it onto the fairway.

Mirror: Same thing, you still can do the same trick!
