As title suggests, I'm slowly getting back onto SEA. I still don't like the limited song choice, but it's the only active english speaking server I can play on since aAU blocked my IP, and hotspot shield often don't work for me T_T.

Anyways, I made a FAM called RTC (which stands of Rape The Chicken, LOL seriously) on SEA. The old SEA players would know about RTC =x it's established back in the days when Rave* was still around. Without a working guild system back then, and the downfall of SEA... RTC died D:

However, I'm bringing it back, and I'm aiming to make it active, possibly do some fam battles sometimes!

SO, calling out to the old members of RTC and whoever interested in joining, if you have SEA and can play it, I'd love to have you in the fam! ^^
mm, i can play sea again ^^ if you have room in the fam, i'd like to join, but only if you have extra spots. since i can't promise how active i'll be there, i'd hate to take up a spot that a more active person could have :x
There are room in the fam! (: would be great to have u in it >:]
okie ^^ i'll apply soon, sometime today probably xD and i'll try to be active ^^
U know I went to the Rave* board after u mentioned that, and I can't believe how dead it is there LOL

Which reminds me, where the hell did Dahn run off to? :O It's like he just POOFED away without saying goodbye or anything Sad
He poofed to never never land ): but he comes on goaudi once in a while!
And he never says hi or anything, the nerve of him D:
I joined RTC the day I found out AuditionSEA had no IP Ban. :D
Sorry I'm not as active on any audi really. ://

They do have an IP ban though...

And I wish the best of luck to the success of the revived guild.
They have banned registrations from 16th July 2007. Those who made accounts before that date can still play.

SUPPOSEDLY....but who knows why I'M (and some others are) still banned -.- I registered in like...September, or October of 2006 >.>
*Deep sigh.*

Fine, more work for me since the confusion apparently still exists God knows why.

This is what caused all the false hope and the source of the confusion. Everybody listened to the words of a volunteer unpaid moderator who unintentionally caused the confusion since he didn't actually verify what was going on; it was only his interpretation of the newspost given on the main page of the website. Don't get me wrong, he's a lot cooler and more useful than the hypocritical and retarded Fujiko, but alas, Asiasoft isn't the company we know and love, so he ran just like the other good forum moderators we used to have. Right, continuing on with the explanation...

After digging into the PlayPark forums for about twenty minutes I finally found the damned thread that apparently not enough people read to confirm their fears (yes, I know some people don't go to the PlayPark forums, which is why the confusion continues to spread despite my tiring attempts).

Every post in this thread is related, but Pudding's final post was strangely the only Q-Box reply that isn't generic and contained more details.

In short, Asiasoft banned a huge IP range, realised the range was so wide they accidently banned locals, reduced the range, and then didn't realise that roughly 10% of North American IPs became unbanned (excluding Mexico since that country was never banned in the first place; probably assumed it wasn't part of North America). I can definitely confirm the ban is in-place though implemented in the most pathetic disfunctional way possible. (You could say T3 Entertainment getting high/drunk/both and screwing this one up was a good thing for once.)

By the way, it's the same method Nexon American division used in Audition America, which explains why somebody from Singapore can register/play just fine, while somebody with an existing account can't play in Malaysia. It's also very possible to find a "safe haven" region if you decide to go out of town; sometimes all it takes is a 45-minute flight (if you want, you can believe 40% of North American IPs are unbanned, but I'd like to think it's a low enough percentage to prevent the American division of Nexon from being whiny *****es again).

Of course, I'll laugh and make fun of you if you take a flight specifically for the purposes of evading the ban (easy2game would've been a much cheaper option).

Sorry for hijacking your thread Raindeavour. I know this is about your return to AuditionSEA with your revived FAM guild, and not about the regional IP ban.

I'd like to take a moment of your time to say, LOL!
I registered my account on SEA in August 2007 and it still works. :) I feel bad for GN, and WHAT NOW REVIVAL I'M ONE OF THE 10%!! :O
Don't worry k16 XD

Anyways, we have a thread on playpark forums now (:
http://forums.playpark.net/showthread.php?t=493388

and the fam has been expanded to 30 slots. ^^v

We've also had a few fam battles, and our record currently stands at 17 wins, 4 loses.
