Audition Global

I just got a new laptop and it uses Vista 64-bits. kAu isn't even really made for Vista, but lots of people got it to work anyway.

Now my problem is... Everytime I click game start, my IE just freezes and then errors out and closes. I already looked for an answer, and most people say it's because of an activex error. But the Audition website won't let me reinstall the activex control. x_x

I also had a registry error, but fixed that already. (Thanks Di ^^ )
Edit: actually, I might not. Do you just double click on the file? o_o

Unlike other Audition servers, you MUST login and access the game through the website, as that "file" is only a shortcut link that opens up the website for you to login and hit "Game Start" and I dont have vista myself, so I can't really help you on this unfortunately

I don't have Vista either, but I've heard people doing the "Run as Administrator" trick over these games and they work for them. Had you tried doing that?

Mm, there is once where i uninstalledmy KAU, and installed back using the 1 month old installer, and the problem is same as yours. Maybe u can try downloading the new installer.

Or another cause is because urs is vista 64bit? I've never used any 64 editions before.

I know about going to the website, since I already played kAu for quite a while now. It's just that since I'm going to college I bought my own laptop now, and I'm having troubles with it. Now I regret getting 64-bits. TT

Let me try the run as admin trick.

And I'm using the latest installer, so i don't think that's the problem. =\
