This is just a theory..but...
If you noticed..they patched this month I believe the first week of July? I'm not sure anymore..

Anyhow..they patched this week aswell, on the 16th, which was ORIGINALLY for Tuesday July 15th. And then..they need to add the musicshake winner's music on July 22nd which is also a Tuesday.

I'm just getting the feeling that Nexon might start to patch weekly to catch up to Korean Audition. This is just a THEORY. I'm not 100%, but it seems a little too much of a coincidence. I'm sure the patches won't be as great as the kAU weekly patches, but they may start this habit.

If I'm right you guys owe me a video card ..and a sound card >_>;;;

So I can play kAU T_______T;
I thought they just announce who won the event on the 22nd, not actually add the song.

-My theory-

Maybe they are patching every 2 weeks?
Hmm I might have to agree on the theory sorta, but hey who knows, there gettin better at least and well about catching up yeah about that Um ^^';. Well lets just wait and see what surprises they have up their sleeves xD
It my just be like bug fixes and events etc... you know stuff like that makes servers update weekly alot.

Well..that's better than before.

@CuppyCakes: Vytaan got his song added as a lobby song since he won the first MusicShake contest. :3
i don't think they will patch every week, because they have ms, combat arms, and mabi to take care of also, plus i'm sure they are preparing for their sugar rush launch. so yea, i doubt it XD i could be wrong, this is just my opinion.

I respect your opinion but I still say nay. Sad

I liked Nexon back when they owned Dark Ages still. I used to play that all the time >_<
Steph if you look on bug's website you'll see they have a lot of other games too :3
this might happen but its maybe just gonna be fashion items,music, or events not like new modes or stuff llike that.

but korean gms actually work..

ok i shouldn't say that, there are a lot of american gms who work hard on their games, however it seems that in general korean games patch faster than american games.

and not all of those games are bugs', they have some kind of promotion partnership with other games. i know cause r2beat is on there and that hard to sign up for shiat is owned by pmang/neowiz xD

It's funny how Lime didn't even hide himself. It seems like as if Nexon purposely wanted us to notice that a GM was doing this so that we'd think they're actually cracking down on hackers?

You so got a point there.
Hmm.
T3 works on two/three games, I believe?
And Yedang works on four.
KOAudition is Club Audition, but hosted on Bugs for people with/without a KSSN. Right?

They must have many GMs/Staff for KOAudition.
So, I guess KO Audi patches faster because they have many staff who have great ideas for the game, etc.

AAU, pays T3 to translate, change things, get the server files, add the songs, etc.
So the staff must be workin hard on Audition?
Idk, I'm stupid. xD
Gazzyy! Wrote:So the staff must be workin hard on Audition?
I doubt it. They probably patched early because they needed the retired songs to go immediately. Nexon didn't want to be vulnerable to lawsuits should the songs' licenses become overdue.

That's a good point too. And Gazzyy, Nexon has five games at the moment, and one of them is in Closed Beta still. Korean Audition also patches faster because basically, that's where the company originated and first created Audition. Soooo, kAU gets first dibs on everything that comes out.

And if all they need to do is translate things and then put them on aAU, is to get a butt load of translators for Nexon and work on Audition instead of paying T3 to do it so that they would be able to pay less, and get more licenses for songs.
