OK, i don't know if anyone else has tried this on any other servers, i might not have been the first to do this. but i've had this idea in my head for.....ages, at least 6 months. so tonight i finally shared it with members of my fam, we had a lot of fun so i am posting it on go aud in hopes that other players can have fun with it too xD
As the name implies, this game simulates an NPC battle, and you play it with 6 people (or 5 if one "dcs".) It's possible to play with fewer people, I suppose, but you'd have to change the score multiplier accordingly.
I don't want to say that there are formal "rules" for this game, you can change it to suit the needs of you and your friends and just have fun with it xD but if you are having trouble, here are some of the guidelines I used when creating my game:
GAME GUIDELINES:
The DJ of the room is the "NPC": he or she sets the song and mode, basing it upon a real npc (c8 can can, s8 funky town, etc.)
Chance is set to 3 to simulate a real NPC battle.
At the end of the game, the NPC's score is multiplied by 5 (or by the number of people in the room if you aren't playing with a full room.) For an extra challenge, you can pretend that one "dced" without changing the score multiplier. For example, if you have the NPC vs. 4 people, you can keep the score multiplier at x5 to make it harder.
If the combined score of the players beats the NPC's score multiplied by 5, the players win. If not, of course, the NPC wins.
If the npc chains you are permitted to distract him/her by spamming. My favorite is the F5 macro in kau, HUX8
