Hello! Is there any way we can take some of the topics and clump them together, and make everything look more uniform in general. I have looked at the thread listings, and I think that things could be a lot more... organized. So I would like to present a possible consolidation and template for any future submissions to guides etc.

First off, if you look at the Everything Audition Sticky list it contains 12 items. I think that this could possibly be condensed into 4 topics

There are 4 categories that the stickied items fall under:
Experience and Leveling
Setup and Beginner Information
Music
and Clerical Topics

What I propose is that these threads be consolidated into 1 thread for each type. For example:

Clerical (would contain):
-Forum Rules

Setup and Beginner Information:
-Audition Etiquette
-How Each Mode Works * For New Players*
-*8Key Break Dance / Style Moves*
-Audition FAQ (being revised)

Experience and Leveling:
-Couple EXP Table
-EXP Table
-COMPLETE License Guide

Music:
-Audition OST (Music) - Last Updated 5/8/08
-Audition Lyrics
-Where do "Audition" Songs Come From?

This way, we can make the forums look more professional in a sense, and for example my thread "Remove Bars From Replays" is good information, but I highly doubt that we need to take up a whole line of stickied space for it.

Secondly, I propose that all information become more uniform in it's presentation. I think that the information on here is good, but it looks inconsistent, and would not mesh together if it does end up getting consolidated. Like always, this is open for discussion, but I am proposing a template for all informative threads that intend to be stickied.

For example this is how I see the new music thread going: (things in red are my notes about each part)
Topic Title: Music (Simple, to the point description of it's contents.)
Topic Description: Music Downloads, Lyrics, and Song Origins (This is where the sub contents of the topic appear, which is edited when new information is added)
Title (size 5, same as Topic title)
This is where a small description about the contents of the whole article will go. Generally this should state that this information is given by the goodness of the goAU family, and be sure to thank them. Also, we should put limitations on posting this information elsewhere (like giving credit etc). (Standard Size)

Music Downloads(Size 4, sub-heading should appear in the same order in the topic description and in the topic)
Introduction to content. (Categories get bolded within)

limitations are stated here (in this case it would be that server status varies, etc) (always first)

so that is just an idea of how this would work. I know it's a LOT to take in, and not all of it may be needed, but i think it will make our site more consistent and easier to use. I want to hear your comments on my ideas, and ideas of your own. but please keep any criticism (of my or other people's ideas) constructive and not demenaing. Thanks, Tsuyo
That's a good idea!

You'd have to kiss the lyrics thread goodbye, though, since shubygirl's not gonna run the site anymore. At least the one in the PlayPark forums is still running. Big Grin
I've been thinking about that for a while. It's a good idea. I'd say make (more) sub forums but that's a power i don't have...so it's all up to GN xD
Great Idea, or maybe include the one in "Play Park Forums" for the lyrics list.

Till it stops running :o *Touches Wood*
maybe I'll make a subforum for guides, and the rest stay stickied, i dunno yet how i'm gonna do it...i don't wanna delete current responses for those threads though unless u guys really want me to =/

please don't delete any responses, i know people will be sad if their post counts go down (well at least i would) since post counts are one of the best indicators of how active a person is in the community.

MAAAABYE you could create a new subforum, and link to it in topics for each area. Smile
Create a new therad and make the old thread hidden. o.o

Never thought of that, but you may try if there is a "Hidden" button or you lock those old threads, and create the new ones?
I thought there was a way that even if you deleted peoples' posts that they still had their current post count..

i've done it..on invision free. just don't remember how ^^

Yeah on InvisionFree if you delete the post you still have the same post count as before. I think its the same on Invision Power Board. >.>
