=3 I love this game... I was kind of curious to know if anybody else has ever played Space Channel 5, one of the greatest musical games ever invented ^_^
If you have, I dare you to "copy me, with no mistakes!" (Jaguar! =3)
CHU! CHU! CHU!
(Okay, completely random, but seriously, I wanna know if anybody's played it... ^^ After years of wanting, I just finally got my hands on Special Edition, which is both games... ^^)
OMG another person who knows what Space Channel 5 is! XD *giddy*
That game is awesome! I have the special edition game as well. Which could probably be why I love 1, 2 mode.
*copies you* CHU! CHU! CHU!
Next one:
UP, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT, CHU, HEY, CHU!
I know. I nearly had a seizure when I found out what 1,2 mode was... though it's not nearly as good as the original!
Up, Down, Right, Right, Chu, Hey, Chu!
*NEWS FLASH*
Press the X button when you hear 'Woof!'
"UP DOWN UP DOWN WOOF WOOF WOOF!"
(I hate Ulala's Dance mode. Driving me nuts. I can't get past about 50 ><)
only piece of Space Channel 5 I own is the secret Morolian form on Rez! XD
But yeah, I used to play it on Dreamcast countless times, so yeah I DEFINATELY know what it is! Along with Part 2 for PS2! ^_^
I've heard about it, and I've been wanting to play it for the longest time..!

Woot! Someone else who owns Rez!! Another masterpiece by Tetsuya Mizuguchi ^^..
Fear is the mind killer!
Hmm... never played Rez... or even really heard about it @_@
Elosai, if you know what emulation is, there's a GBA remake of the first part of Space Channel 5 that you can get ^^. It's literally the exact same game (Just graphically tuned down and missing a few voice clips).

Hey do you remember when you pass the game(Part 2), and after the credits roll, the bad guy does one more button sequence? Does anything ever happen if you get it?? I was totally thrown off guard and didn't even have the controller in my hand, so I was like nuuuuu!! TT_TT And I didn't want to do the final boss again.. lol.. just curious is all.

No, I don't believe there's anything too special about that. It's in both games, actually (I know, the boss at the end of Part 1 is a pain because you've barely got any chances to screw up... but for some reason, the music's beat is strong enough that it's easier to hit the notes... it's the funnest boss out of the two, I find... trust me, if you play Part 2's Hard story [aka Second World or Extra Mode], Purge is harder... >< You've only got 1 chance to screw up each section, unlike most sections of Blank TV, where you get more than just 1...)
Anyway, though, I think it may be required in Part 2 to play World 2, but I'm not sure. I hit it every time.
With one exception; if, during the final 'Chu! Chu! Chu!' where you blow up the Ballistic Groove Gun in Part 2, you fail in it, you get a very hilarious special ending, but no extra note (It's totally worth it to do at least once...). Plus you miss out on the about 50% ratings that it gives you. You can't get a perfect on the stage unless you hit the final note, it's worth that last 1% to score a perfect 200%
Playing through World 2 in Part 2 is worth it, too, to get a few extra Costumes and new Character Profiles to unlock the remaining items, since there's characters that only show up in it. Plus, the ending bit between Fuse and Noize during the credits is absolutely hilarious, since it's changed a bit... ^^
"Fuse! How'd you survive that explosion?"
(To find out the answer, you'll have to see it for yourself. It's too hilarious to spoil here)
