Why is gAU done for anyway? What do I mean by the done for? why simple, updates on gAU are about to end... I am not acting on a behalf of a moderator but anyone with a good pespective could say that gAU is probably going to stop updating. Why? One is the hacker situation, with the amounts of hackers in the game it has became impossible for Emotion soft to deal with both updates and hackers. Another problem is the laggy servers. there is an highly unlikely chance of updating since maintain servers is already a problem. in your opinion is gAU going to fall apart?
Ah, I'm a big n00b so my opinion probably won't count for much but I rather think that gAU isn't going to die... um yet, at least. Mostly because they haven't gotten to making any money out of us yet... and there is money to be made because I know I'd pay for some of the cash items for sure if they implemented them. If Global Audition was going to die, it'd probably be after they implement cash and decide that they're not raking in enough dough from the game to keep going.
Of course I do believe hackers are majorly responsible for the lack of updates. Afterall, say they implement cash and I buy things... my account gets hacked and someone takes all my items... I'd probably not buy anything anymore... which means they lose money and gAU is a big loss.
I doubt it. The game is still relatively new, it hasn't even been half a year yet. Can't expect updates every 2 weeks.
If they released one update, the current hacks would be rendered useless
about the account hacking, all they need to do is add a line in the login script to deny the sql line that is used
gAU isn't dieing, its just the lack of updates that drives in alot of hackers...lag is one thing but nothing compared to the amount of hackers invading gAU ATM...If gAU can at least update with anti-protection hacks, then i bet everyone will come back...because to me, everyone left mostly because of the hacking, some left because of lag, others because they feel kAU is much better at the time (well...actually all the time but thats not the point =p =p) all im saying is, all gAU need right now is to worry about updateing gAU with hack protection rather then songs/modes/solving the lag...those can come later...right now all that matters is the hacking..if they can update from time to time to push back most of the hacking, gAU will be perfect and will addtract alot more people..not really a good thing to have people saying "oh audition is a great game and all...but the hackings is a problem".... :unsure:
Its just the noob hackers thats all. Just 1 Update could screw them all up
