I uninstalled gAU, right, and it took kAU with it, more or less. All of the files of kAU are still there, but now it won't start off the site. It says something then kicks me to the download page...I don't even think redownloading would fix anything.
Anyone know a way to bypass the site? Or maybe simply just fix the problem? >_>
gAU and kAU are linked together whether u have them in seperate folders or not. The best, and prolly ONLY solution is to in fact redownload kAU so that the site can register the fact that you have kAU installed in the specified folder in which u installed in.

since the actual download link is through javascript, and simply copy and pasting that just wouldnt' work! heh
its b/c when u uninstall it both registers from kau and gau are deleted...so u can create them back instead of dl'ing the game all over
Would this be the same case with AudSEA? 'cause now that I have that, I wanna get rid of gAU (and possibly kAU...depends on if I can upgrade RAM anytime soon... >.>; )

Start>Run>regedit
go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Audition(this folder should be there)
there will be one single register there (Default)
1 - right click(in the right side of the window where the register is) > New > DWORD Value
Name it AUTOSTART
2 - right click> New > DWORD Value
Name it PatcherVersion, right click it, Modify
type 2d in the Value Data field, click ok
3 - right click > New > DWORD Value
Name it VERSION
change hexadecimal to decimal and type in the Value Data field your current aud version(to check the version go to the kau folder and open the VERSION.cfg file with a notepad)
4 - right click > New > String Value
Name it EXECUTE
type in the Value Data Audition.exe
5 - right click > New > String Value
Name it PATH
type in the Value Data the path for the Audition folder
(default one is C: Program Files Audition)
EDIT: this worked with 3 ppl out of 4...jz to warn you xD
EDIT2: btw Elosai i d/k if the register for AudSEA will be deleted too...since im not sure if the registers for AudSEA are in the same folder for kAU and gAU...
