Any hints on playing these modes? I've been playing with the arrow pad and not the number pad and its going to be really annoying just to change.

Also if your answer is just practice then my other question is can I enjoy the game late rwithout being able to do expert mode?

Thanks in adv.
i originally started playing with the arrow keys
i suggest you try playing 4key games with the numberpad first, when you get used to that, try playing slow Sync-8 or Dy-8 games
and...practice :o

You technically don't HAVE to until you reach level like 25 or something, and the license mode is Ex. Choreo. However, it gets hard to pass the score requirement if you do only choreo for the license. Knowing 8k is an advantage in lots of ways. :3

Plus it's way more fun when you get the hang of it.
yea, well i started 4key on the numpad, and everyone's going like Ohhh when you play choreo or dyn4 you should use arrow keys it's so much easier, but bleh im used to the numpad <3

and yea, later on when you do licenses like what Raian said, it's alot easier if you switch to 8key, more points better Big Grin
before i did not wanted learn 8k so hard to play with num pad, but with the time, you will change like me your mind
i think 8k so fun even if i not good at it ^^;
looking ppl doing so nice movement, im sure you will want to do same soon ^^
Thanks for your responses but right now I just moved to free server so I have to focus more on practicing the really fast songs on dynamic 4.

Also I'm going to stick to the arrow pad but if like you say I need dynamic 8 for ponts then I'll switch to number pad and then practice that song with dynamic 8 over again and again untill I get a hang of it. But if the number pad it self poses a problem then I'll practice the song with the number pad on dynamic 4, this plan is fool-prove Big Grin

Also thanks again for your responses.
I use both the arrow keys and the number pad. If I ever get cought up in a dynamic 4 game, I just move my hand back and fourth between the arrows and number pad for when I do 8key freestyles.

But yeah, it takes a -lot- of practice to get the hang of it, but when you do, it's so much more fun than 4key ^^. And also, if your limited to the free server, you wont be forced into the 4key only rooms; you'll be able to play them all. =D
I've been practicing and..your right it is fun Big Grin

Also this is irelevant to the topic but relevant to the game.

My question is are the aroow sets fixed for certein areas of songs?

Like all the begginer songs have a similar keyset then the novice keyset have a different keyset but si,ilar to the others in the novice and free is the same also?

Anyway is it just me or I'm I right?

Thanks in adv.
thats really confusing @_@
Uh.. I assume you're talking about the moves..

There's set keys for each move.. so if you try to do one of the 8k moves in freestyle it'll work ^^

I think she's asking if each song has the same moves repeated.

If thats your question, the answers no. They're all pre-existing moves out of hundreds used in a randomized order.
