Just to keep everything organized..
Kowiz is now doing a certain something that wont be explained to get cash items for free. He is also handing them out to other users who want them as well.
In the end, since people will be recieving cash items for free now, gAU may eventually shut down when the cash shop is put to no use. Even if it wouldn't be that extreme of an effect, what he's doing at this point is practically theft. I'm sure some of us that he's awarding with cash items would have bought them when they could, but now why bother? ~_~
I also didn't like how he decieved everyone last night with the whole webtest10 thing (yes, that was Kowiz ~_~)
Personally I dunt want to play with Kowiz anymore for doing such stupid things. =.=

Don't want to get in too deep in my opinions on hacking/exploiting, but i do know one thing.
All this commotion is taking their focus from releasing new content to the game 'cuz they are too buzy trying to stop hackers/exploiters ruining the game (Not talking about Kowiz in particular since i have no knowledge of what he's doing) And that makes me real sad

That is one good point. Whether you believe this hacking stuff is hurting the game or not, it is slowing down progress towards other areas of the game.

No, he just got a hold of some cash and gave out some items. The admins warned everyone against using them so now all is well.
Elion, you know, I appreciate your concern for the nature of things... but there's something you don't know, not having received cash items.
About half of them have disappeared.
I'm not kidding, either. I still have stuff for Roivas, and one of the gifts I got for one of my sisters still remains. However, the set for Garlyle and the gift I asked Kowiz to get for Yavi have disappeared. Just like we were apparently warned, we can hold onto the Cash items... just not use them.
Which is funny. After being repeatedly mistaken for a GM last night, somebody asked: "Are the GMs giving out Cash stuff to test them?"
...You know, that makes me wonder. It was sort of a stupid idea, but now that I think about it, maybe that's their plan? Maybe Cash Charge will open up soon, and they wanted to give brief previews of clothes so that people will -want- them? Just tease people a little bit?
Besides, what about those of us who don't have credit cards or anything like that and who more than likely won't be able to -get- Cash Charge items when they come out? For some of us, just having those for a few moments were a real treat >_>
...You know, I know somebody's going to respond to this someway or another, and after writing this I can't believe I'm getting involved in another one of these discussions... *Sigh*

I actually think that's possible.
This whole thing is getting out of hand that's it insane. I personally don't think that gAU is going to shut down anytime soon. Why would it? Yeah, there are hackers. But every online game in this entire world has hackers. Why not shut down every game?
Another thing too is that I think all the webtests and special_cs is just bullcrap. Why would any GM waste their time tracking and pinpointing every single person? What started my doubt from the first place was when they talked to Kai and gave him a pineapple head (cash item) and the webtest said, "you can wear it for your emabarassment". Uh, okay? That's not very GM-like. =__= Seems more like a practical joke to get someone banned on purpose for not doing anything wrong.
Besides, who really knows who's on those webtest and special_cs accounts? Apparently, people have access to them, according to past incidents that have taken place the last couple of days. So who really know who's who?
Shrug. Just my two cents.
