What are the point of NPC battles... do you try to beat the NPC by accumulating enough points to beat their score? Last game I joined I payed the fee, we were getting owned....(no blue bar at all), It seemed hopeless, then to ruin it entirely.... an update for my Antivirus popped up... what luck?
Please explain what NPC battles are is what I'm asking. =P

Beaitng an NPC as a team gives all of you the winning amount of Den, usually a multiple of what you payed. However, if you lose, you lose the deposit. Once you defeat an NPC, however, the amount you win the next time you win is halved. This is why..*ahem*
Many clubbers have resorted to hacking in order to beat NPCs. To win money that isn't worth anything.
Since the NPCs you unlock as Clubber are quite difficult. XP

But, how is the scoring worked out? Do you have to have a bigger bar than the NPC? or.... a better team score? Cause It seemed like we were losing horribly... but maybe that was just me... =P

As long as you have the bigger score, your winning. The bar is kindof a 'perfect meter'. If the bar is completely blue, your most likely winning and completely out-perfecting the NPC. If the entire bar turns yellow though, the song stops instantly and the game ends, taking your den away with it. This will happen if the NPC keeps getting decent perfect combos while your team faulters not able to get combos themselves.
