I don't really get what is Freestyle. On normal individual when It does free style, I press all the arrows and then press space and it makes me do a dance, and then it lets me do the free style combo again and again, and aren't I suppose to do something cool or is it just always the freestyle combination until I mess up?

basically when in freestyle mode, after u hit a certain number of points, u get a chance to do a finishing move. which if u pull off brings u back to the start again. (varies from type of play eg, cherography, freestyle)
I'm just slamming the keys untill I need 2-3 keys and concentrate on that. Then im hitting the spacebar and do it again. I don't care what move i do. As long it's perfect
While playing this mode, I see some people end up busting out crazy-ass breakdance moves, which in the end has them score a sh*tload of points.
Has anyone seen this? Can anyone explain or do this pheonominon?

. Freestyle is so cool its one of my favorite dances. I just do the same two buttons and then go from there. Freestyle 2 is crazy though.

I believe they swtiched to 8-sync mode (by hitting 0/insert) and certain combinations of arrows allow you to do breakdance, air-walk and all kinds of cool moves. The hard part is figuring out the combinations and memorizing them.

From what I remember normal individual works like this:
Chore: L1-5
*Chore: L6+L7
Freestyle: L6 or 7 up to certain pts
Chore: L8+L9
Freestyle: L8 up to certain pts
Freestyle: L9 up to certain pts
FINISH MOVE*
**repeat
If you mess up you drop down by 4 lvs starting from Chore L5
I could be wrong though.

For the freestyle parts, the word freestyle! is actually a progress bar. Once that bar fills up you get out of the freestyle section (either progress to finishing move, or the level 8 line) It fills up much more for perfects then greats, and it will fill up more, the more steps you do. If you miss you get kicked out back to the level 5 (might be six) stuff, and start over. (on the novice server atleast)
If you get alot of perfects you can end up moving up the ladder alot quicker and getting alot of finishing moves. If your bad and miss alot, or can't deal with freestyle 2 (on the novice server) you will never get a finisher.
I've seen people do what appears to be 8-level freestyle moves in Entry channel. Crazy-breakance moonwalk, stuff like that. Since you can't get freestyle 2 or 8-direction dancing (atleast I've never gotten it and I can get it easily in novice channel). How the heck do you do that?
Can u have 2 or more finishers stacked together? Because i remembered doing a finish after another and was like wtfuzz? :blink:
I think crazy moves come from Freestyle 2 8-key mode with perfect combos...at least that's when I've seen people doing flips and crazy stuff ^^.
