how to see if someone's hacking:

(first of all save the replay.. its easyer to see on replay then while ur playing)

Delay hack - on lvl 6 to 9 someone makes 2 moves where you make 1
you will see 2 greats every time you make one

LvL 9 hack - someone will make multiple finishes in one game

Lock before finish - someone will make constant finishes

Lock on lvl 9 hack - when ur lvl 6 somone can lock it on lvl 9 he will make more points then you for the same great and someone will make different moves then you do (this can happen becouse of lagg also)

1 arrow hack - you can basicly not see if this is skill or hack.. the hacker only needs to press 1 arrow key where you have to press all... but there is a trick 1 arrow hack makes a bit of lagg.. a 1 arrow person will not make alot of perfects in a row.. cuz its getting stuck for a sec before 4th beat)


I hope this will clear out the hackers from the normal players

actually that multiple finish thing is not a hack. i think it's a bug, i have gotten it rarely when i have done a finish with perfect. This usually happens at licence tests. You get the finisher with perfect and you'll see another finisher after it and if ya get the other finisher with x1 perfect, then it gives one more finish O.O it's weird...but if ya get great on the finisher, then it won't give ya another finisher. Weird isn't it. :blink:

on normal individual mode and freestyle mode, if you get a perfect you get another finish, you can have up to 3 finishes. This is part of the game, but what he is talking about is not this, and there is a bug that lets you do finish over and over againn.

sometimes when i miss my fin or so,
after playin a lvl6 it jump back to lvl9 straight away n another fin comes oO

That finish "bug" happens to me every time when I don't miss any 9k but the one just before finish so it _might_ be a feature (like, give possibility to redo finish to someone who did not miss).

2nd; In normal individual or freestyle battle you can rack up 3 finishers without problem ( <a href="http://legeny.free.fr/temp/audition/3perffinish.wmv" target="_blank">http://legeny.free.fr/temp/audition/3perffinish.wmv</a> ) so saying everyone who makes more is a cheater is not really appropriate.

Also... you can fall back on chore/d4 so when someone is having finish you can still be on 9k or even 8k, this is nor due to lag but due to many misses >.>

Not to mention that some "hack" screen I saw were just normal individual plays where some noob just skipped over a half of moves, creating the effect of someone else hacking.

I prefer to clarify some points because if I had to follow this guide I could just call cheater everyone I see ^^;
