You should try using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox or other Browsers to avoid this troubleshoot If clicking the Calender Icon won't work, you can click on the Date of birth ("Ngày sinh") box, this will display the Calender and allow you to choose your birthday

Updated: From now on you don't have to verify your new VTC account (by clicking the activation link in the Welcome E-mail). After successfully registered VTC account. you can log-in and change your details immediately
