Why NPCs have so much den
"Do you ever wonder exactly HOW those NPCs have so much den on them?" Nao asked, yawning a little. Herself and Miki had only just finished a round of NPC Beat Up games, and were returning to their apartments in Audition city.
Miki shrugged. "Does it really matter?" she beamed at her newly won den - 200k, to be exact.
"Well, it does to me. Does NPC get GM powers or something?"
"Maybe they just play lots and lots of games."
"Yeah, and during those games, they mug the players..."
"Why dont you just go to sleep, Nao..." Miki sighed, playfully hitting her smaller friend's head.
"I'm not sleeping till I find out what is going on..." A smirk formed on Nao's face as she spotted the story NPC behind her. "--And i'll find that out by following HIM!"
"Doesn't that count as stalking?" Miki asked.
"Hey, I don't care!" Nao replied, running after the white-haired man. Miki sighed, following sleepily after her.
~2 Days Later~
"Okay, okay!! How was I supposed to know we'd get banned..." Nao sobbed, packing her suitcase.
"You hit the poor guy on the head!" Miki countered, glaring at the younger girl.
"It was purely experimental! I just wanted to know how he had so much den..."
"Well now you know!" Miki huffed, sitting on the bed.
"Yeah..." Nao hit her head. "How was I supposed to know that NPCs are hackers?!"
This is like...the translation of a really weird conversation I had with a few friends. Really, how do NPCs get all that cash?! @___@
