I have a problem, I've installed the game and it runs fine if I am using my XP administrators account but when I try to run it on my regular limited account then it tells me that I haven't installed the game. Can anyone help me with this?
It's not related to admin/guest/user accounts. Basically, the game stores all info in USERs registers and not in global ones, so you can play only under the user who installed the game.
There's no ellegant solution to this (force Bugs to use global registers in next release, eh?), but the dirty one is to copy all registers for each user who wants to play. The only problem with this solution is that it will screw completely after one user runs the patcher, and forgets to copy new registers to others
Thanks Filip, I just used the account I regularly use to install it instead by giving it admin status (since 'run as' wouldn't work either). Too bad it stops working as soon as I take away the admin status.
As long as I can play though, that's all that matters.
maybe could you try to find the emotion.corp activeX... and copy them ... might solve the problem
