Once again, I was at the Beginners' Section. I took out my Audition messenger to check if Hanako was here. When I turned it on, a notice popped up.

*You have 1 new message(s). Read now?*
I pressed 'Yes'.

Hey Cream,
I can't come to Audition Town today. Something cropped up. Play with other people and make more friends!
Hanako.

Oh well. So I did the only thing I could do - find rooms to play in. The first room had the mode 'Choreography', and a 94bpm song. Slow enough, I thought. So I played there. Damn! My confidence level dropped because Hanako wasn't here. I kept missing.
"Go on, keep dancing. Don't give up!" said a sweet voice. I turned. There was the girl, dancing beautifully. She had pink hair, and a pink shirt, with pink pants. The pink blinded me.
"Thanks! You're a really good player."
"Thanks too. You're pretty good for a beginner"
"A friend of mine trained me."
After the game, she came up to me.
"Shubygirl. Just call me Shuby." She held out her hand.
I shook it. "Call me Cream."
"Need some training? I'm not really comfortable with playing with so many people. I prefer a 1-on-1 dance."
"Ok, but make sure you choose a slow song."
"Hey, sure."
She walked out of the room. I followed. She entered an empty room waited for me to go in. Then she locked it.
"Have you tried any modes other than Choreography?" She asked.
"No."
"Want to try another mode? Say, freestyle?"
"How do you play it?"
"Basically you can dance any way you like, but it must be one of the moves in Audition."
"Ok."
"Which map?"
"Anything."
"You really don't talk much, do you?"
"Not really."

Both of us stepped into the arena. The music started.
"Start!" Said the all-too-familliar voice.
I moved my right hand out. Immediately there was 3 lines of circles on the screen, each line had 6 circles, and each line was numbered 1,2 and 3.
"What? I have to do all three at the same time?" I exclaimed.
"No, when multiple lines come out with the numbers 1,2 and 3, do only one."
I did the top. I got a cool. Shuby had a perfect. We continued playing.
Soon, after hitting a move, the number of circles increased to 7. I wondered what would happen after 7, as I had not seen anything more than 7 yet.
That sentence was going to disappear in 6 seconds.
5 seconds.
4 seconds.
3.
2.
1.
9 circles appeared. The words "Finish move!" appeared on top of the line.
"WHAT THE HELL?" I thought. "Relax, treat it as a normal move. Normal move. Normal move. Normal move"
I tried my best, and managed a 'bad'.
I had to face 1 more finish move before the game ended.
"Whoa, looks like you've never seen a finish move before." Shuby said.
"Yeah, first time. I was kinda...scared."
"Scared? You were panicking!"
"Uh...I guess so."
"So, wanna try a faster song?"
"Ok, I'll try."
I missed more this time. Less perfects. Missed one of the finish moves.
Then we started playing faster and faster songs, until 120bpm. By then I was frequently missing.
Soon after that, we stopped playing. She looked at her watch.
"Hey, it's lunch time already. Wanna go eat?"
"Ok, let's go!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Audition cafeteria was packed. No, worse than packed. We practically had to squeeze through the crowd! They should really expand or make another cafeteria.
After we got our food, we looked around for a seat. I swear, my eyes were almost bursting. We saw a 4 seater. 1 seat was occupied by a girl reading a book. So we walked up to her to ask her if we could sit there.
"Hi, is anyone sitting here?"
She shook her head slowly, without looking up. Her hair was short and blue, a sorta light-bluish.
"Can we sit here?"
She nodded, without looking up as well.
"Thanks."
No reaction.
So we sat down. Halfway through eating, I decided to ask the girl for her name.
"So, what's your name?"
She didn't say anything.
"Her name's Mekiko. She's happy as long as she can read her book. Really quiet girl. Too quiet, if you ask me." Said a voice behind me. I turned, to see a guy wearing really cool clothes. "No use talking to her." And he walked off.
I took out my Audition messenger and searched 'Mekiko' and hit search.

USER INFO
NAME: Mekiko
AGE: 12
LEVEL: 37
LOCATION: Audition cafeteria

Shuby and I stared at it. She's 12 years old and already level 37?
Just then, Mekiko stood up and walked away. She walked slowly, hands at her sides, swinging slightly. How could someone like that be level 37? Shuby and I decided to follow her and observed how she danced. We gobbled up our food and ran after her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luckily Mekiko went to the Free section. She walked into a room with 2 other people, looked at the mode and set her status to 'Ready'. Shuby and I went to the observers' area. We saw that the mode was 'Freestyle', but when we look at the song, we almost fainted. It was 176bpm!
The three of them entered the dancing arena, and the music started playing. Mekiko started tapping her feet to the beat.
"Start!"
We stared at her. Her dance was so nice! Her routine matched perfectly, and we watched as the circles on the screen lighted up exactly to the beat. She perfected for most of the moves. She moved into a breakdance routine, starting with toprock and finally spinning. I snapped some photos. At the end of the game her score was...unbelieveable. Could that really be the quiet girl we saw at the cafeteria? We watched her for a few more rounds, then Shuby and I went back to the beginners' section.
"That was the first time I ever saw someone dance like that!" Shuby exclaimed.
"Yeah! The dance was so perfectly done! But I still can't believe that it's her."
"Same. Did you see her score? It was so high! And her breakdance moves were amazing!"
"And on free channel, the finish move is a 6-line combination. Scary. I have problems even on 2-line!"
"Ok, enough about her, let's go play! Want to try the 2-line mode?"
"Uh...I'm so gonna die at that."
"Nevermind, it's just to try!"
So we played. Slow song of course. I kept missing like crazy. I wondered how Mekiko had been able to do it so easily.
"Man, I'm tired!" I said, after a few hours.
"Me too, and I have to go now."
"Wait!" I said. "We forgot to add each other to our buddy lists."
"Oops, I forgot."
We added each other, and left.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I rushed home. I couldn't wait to tell Mocha about Mekiko.
I barged in. Mocha screamed.
"YOU IDIOT! I THOUGHT THAT SOME BURGLAR HAD COME OR SOMETHING"
"Sorry, I guess that I was just too excited to tell you about today."
"WELL, NEXT TIME DON'T DO THAT! YOU SCARED THE FUCK OUT OF ME!"
"Ok, calm down. Calm down, stop giving me that threatening look!"
She stared at me for a few seconds, then sighed.
"So what happened today"
"Oh, I met a new friend, her name is Shuby, but that's beside the point. Both of us met this really quiet 12 year-old girl in the cafeteria, and she turned out to be level 37!"
"Wow, level 37 at such a young age?"
"And her dancing was really, really good! I even took some photos!" I showed her the photos on my camera.
"Holy crap."
"You said it."

oh wow very good story writing!!-hugs your story- But just an advice ..try not to introduce to much characters at once  Now I am just imagining the audition town *_*! I was wondering...about the empty rooms...since there are so many people there..does the empty rooms just pop out of nowhere o-o?...and about the shop i've got and idea XD.....usually our audition shops has unlimited amount of clothing...in your story ...whenever someone bought any of the clothes...it will reappear another to replenish the stock O_O....-starts imagining- ignore my thoughts if you want XD
Lol. I'll use the current characters for the next chapter or 2.

Thanks for the advice on the shop thing though, mind if I edit it a little later on?
Better this time.
Well, although your praising of mekkio sounds cheese-burgerish,it feel very realistic as a newbie dancer : P(bad spelling for me,I still can't spell these *** word properly)
By the way,i think the Audition Messenger is too effective.
I don't wanna have that in real server---
