I think that everyone should get the opprutunity to do the finish. Cause it's such a crutial part of scoring. but i dunno i mean i just think that it would be a little more fair. cause i was first once and just happened to miss the one right before the finish. which is really not cool.
Since the finish is such a point booster, it should be harder to get.
If everyone was able to get the finisher like any other lvl 9 step, there would be nothing different except a massive amount of points which IMO isn't fair itself. The same rules apply when missing to missing near finishers. You miss out on the next bar after your miss and that shouldn't change.
Also, in the other Audition versions, finishers have a chance arrow in them which makes them even harder. Be lucky it's as easy at it is now ;p.
If you can get perfs easily on the song, then missing a finisher isn't too much of a pain.
But really, what songs are actually easy to perf on.

Chance arrows are RED arrows which you have to input the oppsite arrow
for example
