Oh, and try colouring over the "Level 9" and the corner of the small box on your character.

Yep. Take out texture and make the stroke a tiny bit thinner.

either thin the stroke or mix it with a color opposite of the stroke (dark stroke color, light color text; light stroke color, dark color text)
