Hokies, first off, I'm new here. Been playing Audition since the SEA days, but now I'm on global as evertree. But anyway!
I'm hoping someone here can help me out. You see, I have a laptop, an HP pavilion dv 2000. Now, to activate my number pad, I do the usual Fn + Num Lock, since it's built into the other keys. That works just fine. The problem is when I go to play Audition. When I play Audition and do that, the number pad won't work as arrows, just as numbers.
To get my number pad to work as arrows, I have to have Num Lock off and hold down the Fn key, which makes it a pain to 8k. I was wondering if there was another way I could use my number pad to play that didn't involve holding down the Fn key all the time, since it's such a hassle on my pinky.
I'm hoping someone here come up with a brilliant idea that didn't involve going out and buying a USB number pad, which may be my last resort.
