Whats Your View On American Bleach Series?
Alright here is my view,
the minute i started watching American Version Of Bleach Anime, I couldnt stand the voices it just plain out sucked, especially rukia's voice, it didnt have that mean angry tone of voice like the Japanese version has and she does have a cute voice in some areas in Jpn Bleach.. Tho that the intro was the same that was good there and the storyline is all the same, just the voices and performance on how they acted wasnt so great generally speakin the voices... The emotions and how it was layed out wasnt so great..
My rating on this i must have to say 4/10.. Due to poor voice acting skills...

You know, you should post some good points on the poll too. If you leave it like this, you're forcing people to choose bad points. At least don't make them feel forced.
English dubs have a reputation on having bad voices, bad symbolisim that was in the Japanese version but oddly was not in the English release, etc. It happens all the time O.o Bleach isnt anything new as well in this point... That being said it's not totally that bad
whats the "American" version of Bleach have anything to do with Animé history? O_o and u do know that a poll has all views available, not just YOUR view? (meaning there needs to be a good, maybe average, and a bad option).
and IMO, Bleach is actually better than most dubbed animes... (have u watched Naruto? lmao)
Ya know, there ARE people out there who think Bleach is the best show put out on American television despite the badly dubbed voices, and the censorship within each gruesome fight scene.
Its all a matter of what company's dubbing a show that will say whether the dub's gonna turn out alright or not.
My PERSONAL taste on Bleach is just that its an overrated show...simple as that. YES I HAVE watched it, and I DO think its awesome, but I mean...jesus the attention it gets, when there's other good anime gettin released along-side with it @_@

Anyway, yeah Bleach is overated, Its a good anime, subbed is soo much better.

I was thinkin more along the likes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gurren Lagann, Mai-Hime, Mai-Otome, but then again thats kind of a diff genre altogether i guess XD

Plus i'm more towards the Gurren Lagann, Mai-Hime, Mai-Otome type action ones, none of these "OMGZ SO SERIOUS" ones like Bastard, Blood+, Ninja Scroll, or any of those other ones out there x__x

Since the companies usually cut off parts that are too seemingly inappropriate or changing a few lines, especially in a comedy anime, that people in the United States and other places won't necessarily understand, but the Japanese will. Though, as Gamingnerd said, it's really based on the company dubbing it. Also, I believe that dubbed voices usually suck because they can't seem to portray the character right.
The point about Bleach being too overly rated, that's true. There are a bunch of other great animes that do run along side Bleach, and they get their share of recognition, but it isn't as much as Bleach or Naruto.
Also, Gurren Lagann? A few people I know talk about it, I'm guessing it's a good anime. I doubt I'm going to watch it though.<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->
Good answer Chizy, ^^ Yeah american dubbed animes, and games, it just doesnt fit right and how they act.... For example dynasty warriors they did not pronouce the chinese people right. Critiscism was spread on that...

I loved Gurren Lagann, it was a great breakthrough from the traditional sort of anime imo. The way everything developed so incredibly quickly really held my interest. =]
But yeah I think the bleach dub is just fine, you're over-reacting. o.o It's just because you're used to watching it subbed so naturally when you see it done differently you'll hate it. I watch it subbed as well but I dont have any problem with the dub at all, I think they do a good job of it. Unlike -some- atrocities that may never be spoken of.. *coughcough one piece naruto coughcough*
