does anyone has any tips of making the patch faster cause my patch is dead slow like 1-6kbps. my internet connection is good though...besides closing it till it gets faster what else? i've already tried restarting my computer, same thing.

one time i deleted the .zip file that appeared in my kau folder and then repatched...it went a lot faster but idk if that was just a coincidence or not.

my patcher's been at the 1kbps line for the past summer, its never gone faster, except during hacksheild updates. Just manual patch kAU, it'll be much faster, though a bit more time consuming registering the new version so the patcher can see that.

@GN: how can i manual kAU patch? where to get the patch file anyway?

@Steph: i tried that but it's still the same...i've been trying to patch this since yesturday...still the same boring speed.

Then u just follow the manual patching process, and u'll be good to go ^^

EDIT: ok new problem, i DL the patch file, i transfered the file to the kAU folder and i followed kumal's guild but it still thinks i need to patch.

And you edited the registry? 'Cause if you forget to change the version number in the registry it'll think you still need to patch.

ok nevermind. i found the thing and i changed the number to 1959 but i have to DL another patch which is 6491...i DL that patch and repeated the previous steps, changing the regisrty and all, but it still say i have to patch the 6891. Do i have to just wait for the patch or just manually do it again cause when i change the registry to 1960, the window wont stay open.

lol i usually get 1-6kbps too. Every once in awhile i get 30-100kbps. I jus patch during the middle of the day and not at night. Usually at night the server might be busy and gives you less speed, or what i think anywayz. It makes sense cause Koreans will be up downloading the same file.

I don't think that is the problem.
I heard him complain about this since... This week I guess =/. And while he was patching/had restarted patching, I went patching and it went just fine, so I don't think business has something to do with it.

i might as well post it here cause i dont want to make another topic that is related with this one >_>;;

u unzipped the contents of the file in the kau folder, and replaced everything that needed to be, right?

Excuse me for double posting but since no one replied for 24hours or so....anyway

does anyone know how can i DL the kAU .exe file besides from the site? my IE kepts closing eveytime i try to DL the exe file. so im just wondering...
