Audition Global

Hey goAudition people

I was on a trip to Shanghai and visited a whole bunch of wang ba (gaming cafés) there and talking to people about what games they played. I'd seen a few dance games and hadn't really been paying attention to which was what, though a lot of people told me they played Audition. At the last wang ba, getting ready to leave, I saw a guy playing game with a bunch of breakin in it. He was reclining in his chair, rattling out all these moves. The game looked pretty tight. But I left not knowing which game it was.

Got back to Seattle. Told a bunch of people about this really cool dancing game and how it worked. A week or so later a friend sent me the link to Global Audition and've been playing ever since. I enjoy the game and the nicer players it attracts.

Heard Gamingnerd had posted the music and linked from this site, so here I came...

Shanghai?! I'm from Shanghai ! XD NIce to meet ya here!

I was only there a week, but I love Shanghai. Spent the whole time running around the city, but was doing research for work so I didn't get nearly enough time to just explore. But part of what I was doing including interviewing so I was able to meet a lot of people in a very short period of time.

People all over the world are awesome and Shanghai was no different. But ten minutes after I'd used a cash machine and gone to a couple of stores, I was standing on a sidewalk and this guy walks up to me and just hands me my credit card that I'd left sitting in back the machine. OMFG...



I can't wait to get back. Still dream about the food...
