Hey gaming, what did you do to use this? I was thinking i could play the music from the music room, and record it using my creative mediasource... but the problem is how would i access the panel if alt+tabbing closes the game... :huh: I wanna record some songs that i like also... could ya tell me? Thanks for the music packs! Now I can listen to the good songs and get some work done... tho it doesn't help when I start dancing to em in real life.
(That hasn't happened yet, as I'm tethered to the computer with head phones, but I'm sure I will when I put it through the speakers)

O ya btw.. the volume on my speakers shouldn't affect the sound quality of the song when it records should it? If i put it to "What Your Hear" setting the sound should be the same for all the songs, seeing as its transfering from the game not a microphone right?
I'm not so sure about that actually, cuz I used Fraps to record my songs, and when I had the volume on full blast, even though it sounded alright, when u played back the Mp3's it was "BLLAAHAHHHHAHAHAHGG" so, test out a song first, and if the volume's too loud, lower it a little, till it sounds just right!
Oohh alright... Ill try to record some of those audition songs such as canon groove... i love that song lol
*Update: Wooot! My speaker volume does not effect the recording quality! I can have my speakers off, and the sound is consistant
Problem is, some of the bass and high pitched notes sound a bit funny... so im trying to work with the equalizer atm xD *

Hey all, I just figured that if anybody else was interested in recording in-game music, or any other form of streaming audio, I'd strongly recommend that you look into downloading Audacity. It's a pretty basic audio editing program, but it's great for recording streaming music, 'cause you can monitor the levels before you record, so you know how it's going to sound before you start recording! I haven't tried it with gAU yet, but I have recorded a lot of stuff off of <a href="http://www.pandora.com" target="_blank">http://www.pandora.com</a> (which is a KICKASS streaming radio site if you've never been) and the whole ease of the process is simply orgasmic. yes, orgasmic.
