So some of you may know me from in game on either KAU, SEA, or AAU. DDRGoddess on all three. Well I decided that I would post the rewrite of my fanfiction here that got posted here without permission.
It's kinda of weird how I'm writing it this time, but eh. So here's the prologue and I really hope you enjoy it. I'm also going to give links to where you can find the story easier cause I set up a xanga for it and then where you can also here it read out loud on a podcast. x3

Dreams are described as what we wish for in life, what we seek to fulfill, the desires that we so desperately wish to achieve. In the dictionary, the word "dream" means a succession of images, thoughts or emotions passing through the mind during sleep. But it also means an aspiration, a goal or an aim. The word has so many different meanings and connotations but there is only one that truly matters to the people living their lives todays.
My entire life, I've had the wish to dance before the eyes of the world and have them see the passion that I have for this art. To have people watch as I live my passion. The people that I see watching me and even those that I pass by on the streets. Now, I live in a world where that is possible.
There was once a time when my life didn't have that possibility. Everyone around me would hear the words leave my lips and I would be laughed at for it. My parents told me, "Give up on your dreams, Mika, they aren't coming true." The words would strike deeply and it wasn't until I turned the age of fifteen that I did give up.
When I turned sixteen, I moved from the small town in Washington that I grew up in to an actual city. It was alive there, striving to live in all its glory. It was there I discovered the difference between living and living. For once all my dreams were possible except for the one that I truly wanted to fulfill.
Until the day after my seventeenth birthday.
Now, I'm living my dream. It's been a year, a grueling one at that. I've learned so much about what I've wanted to do and I'm finally living it. There were so many people that I met along the way, so many lives that were changed, and so many moments when I wanted to give up everything. But I worked through it; we worked through it and the people that were once strangers have also become my family and life.
Even as you trail your eyes along these lines, my life is changing with every moment that passes. Everything around me is changing just as I hope you are changing as you read this.
This story is about how we came to be where we are and how much we had to go through. How our lives were affected just as much as we, ourselves, were by the lessons we learned.
Welcome to a story of the past.
