Please contribute if anyone knows about ballroom
Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't played kAu's Ballroom mode enough to be adept at it.
Ballroom Dance
The Ballroom Dance mode requires at least 2 boys and 2 girls (with 3 of both genders maxed) to start. At the pre-game room, all the opposite gender characters are blacked out similar to the concept of a masquerade ball.
There are 10 songs currently available on Ballroom Dance mode, with the said songs being fixed on what type of dance is done in the song. (EG: Can-Can (Acoustic Mix) is Boogie/Jive, Opera is Cha-cha-cha, etc.) When the mode starts you can only see your partner.
It works similar to Choreography singles. When your partner misses though, this is where the ballroom aspect comes in, you can save yourself from losing points by the "Saving Grace" (similar to real life ballroom, when your partner misses you can help him/her recover and go on with the show). The Saving Grace requires the player to do a couples move. If successful, the partners continue dancing and the player that didn't miss in the first place is saved from losing his/her next turn. This feature can be turned off by pressing DEL (chance key). By default this is on. Also take note that the character's faces change when "Saving Grace" is successful or not.
After a while the partners change in rotation, and during the "Change Partner" phase you can choose to give a clover to the person you just danced with by pressing the spacebar. This is to commend him/her of his/her dance.
The players continue dancing until the song is over. There is also a finish move to be done at the end of the song. At least one player is required to complete the measure for the partners to do the finish move.
The party king and party queen are chosen at the end of the round, and the roulette spins to give rewards to the red, blue, green or all of the couples. Being high on the ranking does not affect the way the game chooses the party king / queen however. You may become the party king / queen even if you didn't win the game.

Might also want to include that when you Normal alone/Lisence, if you perf your FM, you get another FM muaz. :ph34r:
And I thought 4k Practice mode went up to lvl6? o.o I don't remember anymore but I thought it was till lvl 6. XD;;

Updated the Wikipedia entry for Audition
Story Mode is very similar to license mode - there are conditions that you have to fulfill in order to finish that episode of the Story. If successful the player can choose between an amount of EXP or Den. This mode involves NPC's and sometimes the conditions are getting enough points, being the 1st in ranking, achieving a specific rank (ie: 2nd, 3rd), getting consecutive perfects, etc.
