WARNING: The following info I'm about to give is not yet accessable in the American servers of Audition, and are quite possibly planned for future updates of the game, so if u don't want to be spoiled as to what's ahead for future updates of Audition, don't read beyond this point!!!
WAAYYYY MORE SONGS!!! - The Korean servers have an estimate of over 200 MORE songs that are yet to be in the US servers, and some are most likely to be available to the US, when updates decide to kick in!
New Stages - There are 2 additional stages to choose from. A classroom, and the deck of a pirate ship!
SLIGHTLY Altered Gameplay - The obvious difference is the fact that Choreography, and Expert Choreography have been MERGED into 1 mode, and can be changed between 4-key, and 8-key. Also in Finishing Moves, 1 random arrow is displayed in RED, indicating that arrow be hit in the opposite direction that's displayed
Dynamic Mode - This mode combines Choreography, and Freestyle into 1 unique style of gameplay. You have the option to choose between 4-key, and "expert" 8-key gameplay, with the additional option of "Chance", which from lv. 6-9, will have 3 randomly selected arrows to be highlighted in RED, which indicates that the red arrow be hit in the OPPOSITE direction that is shown (A red, LEFT arrow is really a RIGHT arrow, a red UP arrow is really DOWN, etc.)
1, 2 Mode - This mode plays similar to the hit Dreamcast game "Space Channel 5". The gameplay is as follows. An NPC will stand infront of players, and will throw his hands in various directions while yelling out the corresponding number on the keypad (this can be played using arrow keys as well). This could probably be considered VERBAL Audition, where arrows will NOT be displayed in a normal bar, and instead you rely on the NPC throwing his arms left, right, up, and down, while saying the numbers that correspond to the keypad ("2....4....6, 8, GO!). The final move that the NPC will execute will be one of 3 possibilities. If the NPC yells "YEAH!" You would hit the "0" key on the numpad...if the NPC yells "GO!", you would hit the spacebar (or ctrl key)...OR the final move (for higher levels of difficulty) will just be a regular up, down, left, or right direction. This mode is VERY VERY HEAVY in rhythm, when it comes to hitting the directions to the songs...instead of hitting all the arrows before 4 beats of the music has gone by, you have to hit them in the same note of rhythm that the NPC executed, in order to achieve points.
B-Boy Mode - This is what could be considered a battle mode for Audition. 2 teams go head to head trying to "outdance" the competition. Players take turns doing a line of arrows in Freestyle fasion. When executed correctly, the opposing team is given the same line of arrows, in which they must be executed in a "hidden" bar, meaning, the arrows that were pressed by the opposing team will come up on screen before the team's turn comes. Once the team has their turn, the row of arrows disappears, and you must hit the arrows in the exact order when the bar appears (arrow will appear, when the correct direction has been pressed, and one mistake will reset all the arrows back to the "hidden" state) When the arrows have been entered correctly, the team will either "Counterattack" (one player of team enters correctly), or do a Max Counter (both players of team enters correctly). With each correctly executed line of arrows, the bar on your team's side will increase. This is your Team Attack bar, and you earn 1 attack with every 5 ticks that are filled in the bar. To execute the Team Attack, the player entering the freestyle-like move has to hit the "0" key on the keypad, instead of the spacebar/ctrl key, this will cause the opposing team to not only have to memorize what the other team executed but ALSO have 3 random arrows be highlighted in RED indicating they be hit in the opposite direction!! This makes it harder for the opposing team to score points, and counterattack the other team's move.
Boys Vs. Girls - This is a special event within B-Boy Mode which is only available from Valentines Day through the rest of February, in which a team of 2 boys go up against a team of 2 girls. The top 2 players when the song is finished will have a chance at an additional earning, or loss. Possible conditions include 1.5x Exp, Den cut in 1/2, Lose ALL your Den winnings, and DOUBLE your Den winnings.
I'm pretty sure there's more info that I've yet to mention, so I am open for any aditions to all the "new" stuff that's only available on the Korean servers of Audition!
