It's obvious that companies need to make money, I would be an idiot if I tried to refute that statement.

However, if you're in the gaming industry, you need to provide significant advances in the gameplay of your product if you want people to continue playing your games.

Especially in a case like Audition, which is being licensed from another company...updates need to be made quickly to keep the people who are used to more advanced Audition servers happy.

I'm not totally ragging on Nexon. They've been adding new modes pretty quickly. And I commend them for that.

But yes, I am giving them flak for not having something as basic as the messenger in game. It's a must-have, and until the day it shows up, I'm gonna keep complaining about it xD

They're probably waiting on a higher influx of players. Adding a feature like the messenger would raise the costs for bandwidth alot higher than items/music would. They gotta make sure there's enough people around to pay it off.

I just wish we could skip all this region crap and have one superawesometastic Audition. But there'd be dozens of conflicts. Sigh. D:<

Nexon's in a pinch

They NEED the money that's being made off the cash items so they can spend it to buy licenses to the "latest songs" and put into their game. And we all know how much  it takes to buy a license, right? ^_^

But we all know the basic messenger is crap, so with that and the premium messenger in the shop they'd make money a lot faster xD

Also, Nexon's revenues in 2005 were well over 200 million, I doubt they're as strapped for cash as everyone thinks.
