i bet the reward you get is gonna be less than the amount you spend x.x

It's ads with statements like these that make me feel a bit uncomfortable buying NX. It reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons where the villain owns some major corporation and is trying to scam some poor sap out of all his money... looks like Nexon wants a bash on the head with an anvil.
It's weird because in Maple Story, they don't advertise NX with the whole "Buy now for a chance to win" or "Buy megaphones on these days for a chance to win" gambling approach. All they have to do is show off the new stuff and they sell by themselves.

It still feels awkward though.
I was actually talking about the maple items that don't have much use (clothes, megaphones, weddings, etc). When megaphones first came out in Maple, people bought them like they were free... just to say the most inane things. In Audition, it looks like Nexon had to push hard to sell them. In Maple, people bought clothes all the time to look cool or fit in. Right now, it looks like Nexon has to push hard to sell them in Audition.
Still, if they keep widening the selection (like crazy) and not enough people are buying... maybe it'll pressure them to make stuff cheaper.

I agree with you, but I think people are still going to buy the cash items regardless, because, like you said, they want to have good clothes and not look n00bish.
Some of the prices are reasonable on aau and even cheap. For example, in cash, the blond three spiked ponytail for girls they added in the last patch was 800 cash, whereas it's 1200 on SEA and probably the same in kAU (I don't remember the exact amount on kAU.) And for beats items, that 10k blonde hair they have is usually 300k in all the other Auditions. So it just depends...sometimes you can get a good deal, sometimes not xD

It seems to be working though. I see a lot more people wearing cash stuff these days. It's nice to see some diversity... ... even if everyone wants to be the warrior princess. >_>
Still, aau has a lot of fake noobs from other auditions that make no effort to buy anything whatsoever, and why should they? Anything they can get in aau, they can get in another audition for an indef period.
