Well for the aau commercial I found it attracted more girls then boys. I can ask most of any girls in my school (they seen commercial and liked it) now if i ask a boy either 2 answers 1( no what is that) or ( It looks to gay) another commercial from a boys point of view would be that bad. I know it's alot of money but who thinks that would at least help?
Hmm... flashing lots of bright colours while playing hilary duff music probably isn't going to attract many mens. =/ Maybe some of the clothing has a bit too much pink and purple, making it look "gay".
I propose a "Tough boys wear pink!" slogan if they're going to make a male-centric commerical =P

I had an idea for one... someone is like at starbucks, and another person is like in class etc, and a song starts playing from like a radio or something, and the people start dancing, then it says, "now you can dance anywhere" and it fades to person in game doing the same move XD
Agreed.. the game may appeal more to girl casual gamers, but if marketed properly, guys can get into it too.. <_<

Well, With MTV being considered, Most teenage guys from 13-18 are attracted to Girls in skimpy outfits, and the like. So maybe if the commercial showed guys dancing with hot girls to a more popular rap/hip-hop song (Most of its garbage to me anyways) and if they show it on other networks that are popular, like WB, FOX, etc. more guys would join. The guy to girl ratio on NAU or AAU or whatever its called, would become more even. I think the ratio is like 33.33% guys to 66.66% girls, Couples mode is seriously hard to play with that kinda ratio, so AAU needs more dudes. You can't ignore the shortage. ( Oh, and at least 40 guy players who were on AAU quit because there favorite songs were DELETED,such as Thunderbirds are now!, Magic city, and others, I think Needy Girl was taken off aswell.)

My opinion: Nexon is trying to aim for the wrong market... instead of gamers or people who really like music (because what I heard was NOT music...)
Well this game wasn't really geared towards guys. I mean like cause you can dress your char up, i don't know but i don't know that many guys who like to sit there and play dress up on a char. And im shocked that nexon put anime faces on the american game. For music purposes, if i had a choice between Guitar Hero and Audition, I'd be on Guitar Hero first. But to each his own. I guess most gamers who have decent computers that could play 3D games (ie. GoW, CoD4, F.E.A.R., ect. wouldn't really spend their time looking for a game online to dance).

No not totally. The game is definetly not about dressing up your avitar although that is an option it isn't the main objective of the game *if audition even has a freakin objective*. All im trying to say is the game is marketed towards a teen audience in general. Although on kau more korean adults play. lol and btw audition is doing pretty well for one thing because it's diffrent from those other ddr games that we play, or that we buy. *not including that psone game*
