Audition Global

Audition was actually covered in an interview by IGN last month.. o_o:

You know this game is getting big when a game site as big as IGN is giving it coverage and saying that there are over 120 million registered players.. (except.. why is it in the RPG vault?) X_x

Anyways, it made me think about how I started the game, and the people I got to start lol. I actually started it out of curiosity after hearing it from my friend's (xenon_exe in game) friend (Arasthil? MrSmiley? Can't remember.. don't think they play anymore) talking about it, so I told her I'd try it and tell her how it was. After trying it out, I promptly told her to get downloading, and her nephew too (midori). After that, I told two of my high school friends about it (Insomniac and Ellora), who always try out MMO's with me lol. After that... I got a friend from university to register and play.. but I don't think she kept playing (InsaneKitten). And just recently, I tracked down one of my friends from the 1st grade (yea.. you heard me right) in Facebook, and after all these years she had somehow turned into a gamer when I moved away.. and I showed her my youtube videos and she promptly said OMG I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME! ADDICTION ALERT! So.. potentially a new player in our midst soon? She's in Sweden, so our time zones make it hard to catch each other. In any case, I gave her the SEA url and I promised I'd introduce her to the game the next chance I got lol....

So hmm.. that makes 5 people I got to play the game, 4 people who still play to this day, and possibly 1 newcomer soon, unless she's playing already and I don't know.. XD. Dunno why.. but there's tons of gamers in Vancouver.. @_@..

How about everyone else? I know someone made a thread about how they got started playing Audition, but are there any stories about how they sucked other people in? 120 million people.. there's gotta be a few stories..

Oh, another interesting story... I didn't include this in my numbers, but I got a comment in one of my youtube videos of this person thanking me because his/her friend said they'd only start playing Audition if their favorite song was in the game, which was Freestyle - Y.. XD; So that video happened to have that song and that person was overjoyed that he/she finally got the friend to play... didn't see that coming. :lol:

Just one so far...I've been working on getting another friend to convert but so far no luck.

Considering the amount of people I got to play this thing, I wonder if I should be a politician or something. The only problem is that they get bored of it quickly...

i used to listen to a podcast, they said like a sentence about it. I was at my computer, so i decided to look at it. Lo and behold here i am XD

Audition is cool ^^ Hope it tops the chart... Im all around audition player meaning i dont only play america i play others hehe.. Its true what they say about girls there attractive and boys want them as couples but careful some can be guys hehe.

Songs every 2weeks? Wow they said monthly hmm weird but okay :blink:

well, actually audition was introduced by this guy friend of mine and i started to play it. then later i found it really really fun and asked sylvia (legardria) to play then she played and got stuck..then i also asked another friend kelsie (rexeren, not yunnie) to play it too but unfortunately it didnt attract her as much as her passion to play dota. lolx! i think i only have introduced to people to play this game...i think....=)

well...i indirectly got some1 playing on facebook even tho i havent talked to him since elementary school...he comes outa no where and starts playing audi cuz of me...lol

I tried getting my friend in it (Where I play it now) But to bad, nothing happened xD.
And I don't think many people here are interested. I see alot of people play GRAW and shooters and RPG's and stuff, not alot of DDR actually.

Anyone else I asked to play.. well, they must not be important because I can't remember them.

I say WOW sucks because the graphics suck, theres no pt in the game and its boring... As for audition its way more fun and overall it owns

For one thing,they are different games,kakasensai.....You can't really compare them.It is like,you can't compare a BOOK with a CAKE.They are too different.They are game,just like a book is made up of matter and so is cake.but they are different.A lot.
