This is to the pros of the game. How in the heck do u do all them perfects in a rows or so many in one game? This is very important for me beating my new rival ryy <_< . Post comments.

1. Turn your music on. Use a headphone so you can hear the music very good.

2. Concentrate on the music (you need to have some music experience with it)

3. Just "head-bang" till the beat. Most of the time you'll get a perfect then.

Here's something NOT to do...

Usually if I'm mad because I'm not getting perfs, I try to hit the spacebar earlier or later, depending on if I feel I'm early or late.

But it almost always makes me worse and get a bunch of cools instead of greats.

You should do better if you just get into the song and hit space on the beat. Works for me, anyway.

I didn't accept you as my rival, especially when I already have one

-I like using CTRL better, it's consistant.

-Don't go to lyrics what-so-ever, unless they're really on. Otherwise you follow lyrics into a good or bad.

-Always try to hit all arrows, and just bounce out the beat. Once you get that, then time the arrows to the beat (Because if you mess up, you'll already know how to redeem uber-fast).

If you can tap your foot to the beat, that helps eve more since bobbing your head to the beat makes you dizzy.

Usually I also just time the keys so that right after I press the last arrow, I can hit spacebar or ctrl and get it.

Don't look at the bar. Ever. Sometimes I even close my eyes when I've finished the keylist, it really helps me to get perfects since I pay too much attention to visual information. Which ends up screwing you over, atleast for me.

also, i've noticed that the perfs in same songs vary from level to level...I might be imagining it but I could swear...

You mean in score? In score a perfect combo on a level 8 is worth a lot more than a perfect combo on a level 3. Atleast I'm pretty certain since you always seem to get get a super pointboost with a high perfect combo on higher levels compared to the very start.

Ah, no idea. I don't pay any attention to that.

Im not the greatest of players, but i usually tap my foot. Use both eyes and ears cuz thats really key to when u press the bar. If that doesnt work, i usually count to myself 1,2,3,4...that normally keeps me on track.

Heh, I tried tapping my foot before but after a while I start tapping my foot out of beat.. so doesn't work for me. Basicly, just listen to the song well and have good reflexes to get lots of perfs.

Okay, I just played a game while dead tired and ended up doing freaking brilliant. Got like 450k on canon groove battleparty (this is a lot for me, don't laugh). So the trick to getting perfects is to play while really tired! Your brain won't know what's going on so it'll trick itself into doing perfects. The logic is in there somewhere.

This is true. At the right level of tiredness, I pwn :lol:

iono if this wil help you. but I always start with a really fast song so I know i can make the hits within the beats and then focus on perfects on slow songs. it always helps me get perfects. my warmup song is beat city
