How to run in Window Mode?
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
This has been thoroughly tested and while some say it contributes to lag (they probably mean client side) and say it makes timing harder, there is nothing wrong with using this and your Audition should - barring unusual circumstance - run fine no matter what you do. However, I will not be held responsible for Bad Shitâ„¢ happening because you used what is essentially a dirty hack that hooks DirectX initialization calls as well as windows API notifications and changes them.

This fix will put Audition in a window and disable the task change notification. What this latter means is that it stops Audition from knowing when you go out or back into it, and thus it won't terminate while multitasking; handy if you're playing in a window, since that's probably why you're windowing it to start with.

Enjoy. Instructions follow.

To get Audition running in a window:
Instructions

* Get and unrar DXWnd anywhere
* Run dxwnd.exe
* From the Edit menu choose Add
* Browse for "Audition.exe" at the top, usually found in C:Program FilesAuditionWorldWorldVer
* Select to Hook to DirectX9
* Select "Do Not Notify on Task Change"
* Leave other options as normal
* Run Audition normally, and kablammo, you hab windowed mode.

Credit for DXWnd goes to:

How do I play couples mode?
Disregard the red arrows and hit only the blue ones. The red arrows are the steps your partner is doing.

How do I hit diagonals?
Use the number pad. (7, 9, 1, 3 for diagonals)

I hear these all too often.
What is is Entry, Novice, Midway and Free?

Entry is for people just starting out, levels 1-5.
Novice, Midway and Free are for more experienced levels.
NOTE: Lower levels may go into the novice, midway and freedom channels. BUT
levels above 5 cannot go back to entry level. This is to prevent mismatch plays.
QUESTION 1: [Image: shotweb.jpg]

lolololol i dunno!!11

QUESTION 2: "What's that flashing thing next to my name?"

It means you need to take a license test to "offically" move on to the next level. You don't have to do it right away, but any games you play with the flashing symbol will result in zero (0) Experience Points, no matter what place you get in.

QUESTION 3: "What is a license test?"
It's almost something along the lines of a quest: You are given certain requirements to complete before the given song is over (They give you a song to play, and no, you can't change it). The three requirements fall under these three catagories:

(Total) Perfects: You have to get these many perfects total before the end of the song.
Perfect (Multiplyer): You have to combo these many perfects in a row to fulfill this goal.
Score: Just a numerical value you must reach by the end of the song.

Each license test costs a certain amount of DEN, so make sure to do good first time around.

If you are able to fulfill all requirements, you can start earning Experience Points for your level. As a bonus, you also get some DEN for your hard-working accomplishments. Also, you will become a higher rank at certain levels.
I just got level x(6,11,etc) why can't I gain any exp? and why can't I join some channels?
Once you gain a new title you no longer gain any experience points in any mode until you get a licence (eg. Stiffy > Novice > Freedom >so on) but can continue to go back to the lower level channels til then.
Does perfect affects the levels (6-9) in freestyle?

The perfect, indeed, does affects the level. The more perfect you get the sooner you hit next level.
What are the red arrows?

Red are 'Chance' arrows. Hit the opposite direction from the one indicated. On Novice channels and up, one Chance arrow will always appear in Finishing Moves. Also, activating Chance mode (the large C) with the DEL key will cause moves from level 6-9 to appear with 3 red arrows. This makes them much tougher to complete, but increases the amount you score when done successfully.
