Yea friend send me the same thing today >.>
Censorship in China is strong <_< and even chinese google is being censored.
That is just friggon terrible...
woah
Wth is with those Chinese.

They protest against Japanese for not admitting to their mistakes in WWII, but they themselves are afraid of admitting to their dark past.
eh... problem with china is... giving 1.4 billion people, pure unfiltered democracy will lead to some serious chaos...

Even with like all the strict censorships and enforcements out right now, there's ALOT of crimes still taking place and like... police are even too lazy to pull people over. No police will ever pull you over in china. All they have is like, camera's installed on every traffic light and corner, so if you run a red or if you're speeding, they snap a pic of your license plate, and expect a bill in the mail.

but yea... it's kinda hard to keep 1.4billion people in control and not let it fly off in chaos, i don't like the internet censorship, but i think china's doing it's best at managing 1.4bil people.

China's democratic?
I think chinese google only searches for images on chinese websites, and the ones under english google were probably on english websites, thus they didnt show up on chinese google.

I'll test this when I get home. =x

It automatically switches over to 'Chinese Webpages Only' if you search for "Tiananmen". Most likely as a part to assist in censorship. Although, oddly. It's difficult to find pictures of the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989 in the image search. The very first website in the search yields this webpage http://cryptome.cn/tk/tiananmen-kill.htm which is rather amusing. Cryptome.cn being a chinese website which publishes banned and censored information.

Also. The Chinese Government has never denied that the Tiananmen Square Massacre ever happened. They just don't advertise it and are very miffed if you talk about it. The entire subject is a big-big taboo. Even more apparent seeing as you can't search for international websites regarding the subject. The very word 'tiananmen' in your search forces you to look at only chinese websites.
