<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Ragnarok 2 Online, the sequel to the popular (in Asia anyway) massively multiplayer Ragnarok Online, was given its debut at the Tokyo Game Show. The big news with this title is that the characters and the environments are now fully 3D, whereas its predecessor featured two-dimensional characters on top of three-dimensional backgrounds.

Some of the game's fans who know and love Ragnarok Online have expressed worry that the transition to 3D characters would destroy the manga-inspired look that they've grown to love. However, the behavior of at least one member of the gaming public that tried the game out at last week's Tokyo Game Show indicates that the transition to 3D characters will be widely embraced.

As this gamer demonstrated, a determined player can maneuver the camera in Ragnarok 2 so that he's looking up the skirt of his female characters. Ho hum, right? But wait, there's more! Not only can the camera be maneuvered into some pretty racy viewing angles, but it appears that the game makers themselves have taken efforts to carefully model what is seen there. All-important polygons were spent modeling characters' undergarments. This is why 3D was invented.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Wow, you can also change camera angles to do that in some other games have I played. I don't think there's anything wrong with that though.. as long as you don't see what's beyond it.
I don't really know why everyone is making a big deal about this.. upskirting is in other games aswell. I mean we already knew Gravity were a bunch of pantie-chasers. Or was it the 40-year olds that urged Gravity to do this? We'll never know.. but at least we know it'll make some users happy and keep them worthwhile during game. As for me, I don't really care much.
seriously why are a bunch of us even discussing how a girl's underpants looks ingame...

<_<
Yeah real-life prob. better..
Those people actually show such stuff at TGS?

I dont know how upskirting can be a plus point.

(although i prefer Light Elfs)
well technically it wasn't shown. a gamer trying out the game did it =X
As I see it: It's one thing to just have it. But it's nice to know that they don't deny that fact what-so-ever and try to please all the fans, yet purely optional

Kinda like Grand That Auto III and on: You CAN pick up a prostitute and screw her silly with your wang then a Ak-47, but you don't have to. They just want to please more fans.

Working for the people, and not as much for the game. Not really a negative
Sort of old topic, not too old but I want to add, that "Upskirting Feature in Go Audition" exists too. :o
I have proof.
WARNING: Do not view if you are under 18 even though I'm under 18. But you shouldn't. Big Grin

You had your chance but you missed it! Big Grin
Doesn't the internet have enough porn already?
Yeah some dance moves in Audition require the character to spread legs so if a girl wearing a skirt did that and it didn't show something underleft, it would seem unrealistic or something.
I don't see how anybody can get aroused from the image of underwear in a game. It's just freaking underwear, everybody wears it (atleast I hope so) including 3d makebelieve people. Having the characters not wearing underwear in the game would be quite a bit worse in my opinion. Besides, just open up any clothing catalog. People will be parading around in bathing suits and under garments. What's the big deal?
I dont know why people are getting worked up ... i bet movies/tv now-a-days show much more than that -_-;

lol I agree, I don't really think anyone gets aroused from seeing underwear in a game, unless umm reallly..

I don't think its such a big deal <_< unless their are activists around who believe it does show sex and should be banned
lol @ phoenix blue... Those pics of ------... did you have permission from her to upload them? xD I don't think she'll be thrilled finding that lol I was just playing with her a few hours ago
