    Because of several issues, the old hkAU had to be closed. Further discussion about hkAU can be done on this thread.

    ALTERNATE DOWNLOAD (Dec 30, 2007)

    Here's how to fix the game client version mismatch of AUDITIONHK_SETUP1101.exe, which is the current game client that is up for download on the hkAu site.

    Things you'll need to download, unless you already have:

    1. <a href="http://audownload.hk.9you.com/auditionhk/client/AUDITIONHK_SETUP1101.exe" target="_blank">AUDITIONHK_SETUP1101.exe</a> [The game client installer]
    2. <a href="http://audownload.hk.9you.com/auditionhk/manualpatch/auhk-patch1218.exe" target="_blank">auhk-patch1218.exe</a> [The manual patch]


    Ok, this is what you need to do once you have obtained both files:

    1. Install the game client by running AUDITIONHK_SETUP1101.exe. (If you already installed the client, go to step 2)

    2. Once the game client is installed, install the manual patch by running auhk-patch1218.exe.

    3. Enjoy the game!

    =( I followed every step, but still, I can't install the programme :(

    And the file was 0 GB! O.O

    ur guide rocks.

    jus a question from me. i am able to play the game. but however, sometimes when i see people with cash items(i suppose), my audition crashes. i have downloaded all the patches available but my audition still crashes. do u have any idea how to get the latest patches? thanks in advance.

    wad screenshots? they arent any screen shots. the audition jus closes. no error what so ever. this occurs also when i enter the shopping mall and scrolls down to view the clothes. most of them are visible. but certain clothing causes the audition to just close. i tried patching again and again but it dint work.

    Since patching has not worked, have you attempted to re-install?

    erm yes. i tried reinstalling. didn't work either. its weird that it only occurs on me and one of my friend's laptops. my other friends desktop and laptops had no problems. has it got anything to do with the brand of the computers? mine is Fujitsu.

    The brand doesn't really matter unless there are other users, of the same brand, that can relate to your problem.
    It could possibly be some non-audition related files that have been corrupted within the system, though I'm not exactly sure. Also, when you re-installed, did you restart the computer after each step (uninstall -> restart -> install -> restart -> play) ?

    Haha. restarting everytime? nope. i did not. lol. that will take a lot of time. =x i find it weird that only me and my fren with laptop of the same brand and model has this problem. it's not a very big problem anyway. thanks for ur help flowzz

    Thank you very much! :D Is the alternate download optional? I'm lazy and confused this morning (it's only 7:25 am) so it doesn't look too easy.
    Edit: Actually, when I decided to read it, it didn't. O_O >Lazy< :P
    Oh, and a question about the shopping mall... people outside of Hong Kong can get cash, right? If so, how do you do it? Or is it the same as in cAU?
