I WOULD do what Gar did and ask people who wants to be in it...but IMO he put way too many people and only like 5 of them had an actual appearance or something...Plus I don't like keeping track of 31409832904 people.

So. Priority goes in order of my bestest bestest buddies and secondly in order of how long I've known you (Sorry but I'm most likely not putting you if I don't KNOW you or only played with you once or w/e.)

Ok before I provide character descriptions, I should explain how the game works...otherwise it'll...just be weird, lol.

So here goes.

Battles happen like this: When a player comes into contact with a monster or visible sight of a monster, a Dance Battle (DB) commences. Battles last between a minute to two minutes if the battle is with a normal monster and last three to five minutes if a boss (in some noted rare cases, battles have been known to last up to ten minutes). The battle is fairly fast-paced in that it makes use of a new type of innovative battle mode called Active Dance Mode (ADM). ADMs depends on the class of the player. Usually, the monster attacks and to dodge you must successfully hit the arrow combination. Using chance will result in either a complete block or counter, and missing an arrow will result in a hit. The same is true for an attack: missing an arrow will result in a missed attack, and chance will cause extra damage. The song usually depends on the weapon, and in The Rhealm, there are many kinds of songs, not just dramatic battle music or techno, resulting in an exponential increase in the number of kinds of weapons from .hack's The World.

(Yes...I'm using GU classes cause they're just THAT much cooler...look on wikipedia if you wanna know what they actually are like, lol~)

Twin Blade
Weapon: Daggers
Song: Usually fast-paced, BPM >120
Many short, quick bursts of choreo.

Edge Punisher
Weapon: Large broadswords
Song: Usually slow, perf chains cause increased damage, BPM 80-140
Short combinations of 8k arrows with emphasis on perf chains.

Lord Partizan
Weapon: Spears
Song: Varies, usually on the slightly faster side, BPM 100-200
Bboy-esque, with player's attack shown one turn before and inputted one turn after
Example:
Before battle starts - Player's attack combo shown
Right after battle starts - Player must input attack combo
During player's attack combination - Player's defense combo shown
During monster's attack combination - Player must input defense combo
etc, etc.

Blade Brandier
Weapon: Swords
Song: Varies intensely, can be just about any BPM
Can be either choreo, ex choreo, or 8k, depending on the blade.

Macabre Dancer
Weapon: Sharp fans used in dancing motions
Song: Varies, usually mid-tempo, BPM 80-180
Freestyle-type ADM.

Flick Reaper
Weapon: Scythes or large axes
Song: Songs with both an (Easy) and (Hard) setting; therefore, songs that can either have very slow BPMs or very fast BPMs
Ex choreo or 8k, switching BPMs randomly in the song. When song is (Hard), rapidfire short bursts are displayed. When song is (Easy), long complex combinations are displayed.

Tribal Grappler
Weapon: Fists, feet, claws
Song: Varies, strongest weapons actually have lowest BPMs. but are forced chance weapons.
A very very very very....incredibly long arrow combination is showed that can fill up to the entire screen. Each correctly hit arrow results in a minimal damage hit and each miss is a miss. The strongest weapons will have mostly red arrows instead of blue arrows, though the BPM will be slower than weaker weapons, allowing for more time and more arrows to be pressed.

Harvest Cleric
Weapon: Defensive/Healing magic
Song: Usually intensely slow songs, BPM 60-120.
A long stream of arrows is displayed, and each arrow must be hit correctly for the spell to take effect; if a single arrow is missed, the spell fails. Higher-power spells include longer streams of arrows, and depending on the weapon and spell, can be either choreo, ex choreo, 8k, all with or without chance.

Shadow Warlock
Weapon: Offensive magic
[Everything about this class is the same as harvest cleric, except spells are offensive instead of defensive]

Steam Gunner
Weapon: Guns/ Bayonets
Song: Usually fast, BPM 100-200
A reaction time-based ADM, with one to two arrows displayed per set, sets occuring nonstop one after the other. For each successful set, a shot is fired. BPM depends on the weapon while mode (choreo, ex choreo, 8k, with or without chance) depends on the bullets used. When a bayonet is used, gun-type ADMs are alternated between twin-blade type ADMs (slightly more arrows slightly less often).

Adept Rogue
Weapon: Can use any weapon after a Job Extend Quest is completed, though starts out with daggers.
Song: Can be any song, since can use pretty much any weapon
The ADM obviously depends on the weapon, but is usually more difficult than normal ADMs because other kinds of ADMs will appear randomly during the song. (For example, if using daggers, most of the time a dagger ADM will appear but sometimes a different one will appear; the battle animation will change according to the ADM.)

Actually I finished a bit of the prologue..but it turned out really bad, not the way I wanted it at ALL, so I'm gonna redo the whole thing. xD~

I keep getting distracted and working on the character list~ [BAD ME I KNOW...~!] I already know some people I'm going to incorporate into it, if I know you're in it I prolly talked to you already, ahehe...you don't know how I'm gonna use your character though. -evil laugh-~

Today Mr. Yuzohiro Takashi, head of CC Corp, announced The Rhealm’s one year anniversary with a celebration on unparalleled magnitude. Right from the get go several hours of fireworks lit up the night sky until the sun rose at 6 AM this morning. A special event is taking place today until 11:59 PM, pushing simultaneous Internet usage (as well as Internet traffic) to an all-time high! Everywhere you go people are wearing CC Corp’s most updated line of virtual reality headsets, nicknamed VREyes or VRIs, which are connected to a surprisingly reliable Altimit Internet connection. Mr. Takashi has rented hundreds of one-day servers, enough for every Rhealm player (or FRheaks, as some call them), to log on at once and experience lag-free gameplay, and then some! …Oh god, Zachary I’m not saying that…do I have to say that…? …BUT I HATE THE RHEALM!…Fired!?!? Even though he didn't see it captured on TV, Damien heard the sound of gagging and laughed so hard he fell to the floor, kicking his feet. Remote in hand, he clicked off the TV and tried to catch a breath. “Man…I sure hate her but that was fucking hilarious.” He sprawled himself comfortably on his friend’s living room couch, taking a quick glance over at the homework he should’ve been doing.
“Hey Damien, you want a soda while I’m in here-” A slightly older girl closed the fridge door, holding a coke. She looked over at her friend who was now half-asleep. “DAMIEN, how many times have I told you to take off your shoes if you’re going to lie down on that couch? …You know what, on second thought, save my nose the aggravation. Hurry and nap, I’m supposed to PLVL your character today so you can play with me and Daniel and them. …Heh, you two are so into each other.”
Damien threw a pillow at her in response. “…Ew, Jasmine. Say that again and I might pull an Amira Lopez right on your Persian rug. The day I go gay for that asswad is the day you go out with Andrew…”
Jasmine scoffed. “Ha! Just for that, maybe I will. Andrew’s a nice guy, you know, and so is Daniel. You’re just jealous because they’re more POPULAR than you…and get BETTER GRADES…and are on like 20 sports teams…and are GOOD-LOOKING.”
“You saying I’m ugly?”
“I’m not saying that. I’m just saying that they’re extremely attractive and you’re well…not as attractive. “
“Oh, wow, that hurts. If you’re gonna be like that maybe I”ll just get someone ELSE to PLVL me. Someone nicer…with…with…a comftier couch!”
“Good luck. It’s getting late, and I gotta start on an essay anyway.” She rushed over to the couch and put his books into his bag, zipping it up and handing it to him. “Well? You don’t need ANOTHER F, I assume.”
“Psh, thanks for nothing.”
“You’re welcome.” Jasmine smiled and practically pushed him out the door, closing it behind him.
“…Geez, good night to you too…” Damien muttered to the door before turning around and walking to his own house next door. He went around to the back door, remembering he left the door unlocked since he wasn’t gone that long.
“Mom? Dad?” He called into the empty house, surprised they weren’t home yet. “Eh, they’re probably eating out at some fancy place…as usual…” Sighing, he ran upstairs into his room, dropping his backpack onto the floor. He looked at the clock through the corner of his eye. “9 PM…it’s still early…kinda. I can get started on that homework anytime.” He reached into the deep darkness of his closet, beneath some clean? clothes, groping for his VRI. Not finding it anywhere, he frantically searched his room. Finally, he found it half-hidden in a closed dresser drawer. “Ugh, I hate it when mom rearranges things like this. Can’t ever FIND anything.” Placing it squarely on his head, he logged into The Rhealm.

Damien was stunned to find his character in a very dim, bleak-looking root town. Or at least, he thought it was a root town. He saw buildings. No players, no NPCs, but no monsters either, which was a sort of relief, at least. The area reminded him of a graveyard, with a dark gray sky filled with ominous-looking clouds. Everything looked ancient, as if it hadn’t been used in centuries; even the air felt unused. The only thing that was odd was that instead of cracks and cobwebs, there were random errors in all the scenery. Binary code and all sorts of letters and symbols filled up the broken parts of what looked like an NPC shopping area. It made him conjure up an image of what a computer would look like after a particularly horrendous virus attack. Damien tried to look at the field/root town information, but all of the information had been blacked out. Finally hitting him was the realization that his character looked completely different. He had originally been a Twin Blade, and, well, he still had two blades…but now they were two abnormally large blades curved at odd angles. They were constantly changing colors, but seemed to switch between shades of crimson, violet, and black the most. And they were glowing. Half terrified and half ecstatic, he looked up his character information.

His swords were called “G0* KI11E<%”, and all of his stats were shown as “XXXX.”
“Fuck. FUCK FUCK FUCK. Who the fuck messed with my character!? What the fuck’s a Data Fusionist!?!? AND HOW THE FUCK DO YOU SAY G0* KI11E<%!?!?!?” Damien/Dae took a deep breath before smashing his foot on the ground, only to have the floor crack under his feet, small pieces falling down into an endless abyss of corrupted data below. He’d had enough of this place. Flipping through the screens as fast as he could, he reached his inventory and found that all he had was a single sprite ocarina. He decided to try and use it; sure, this may have been a creepy root town, but it sure wasn’t s normal one. Maybe it acted as a secret event dungeon or something…to his relief, it worked.

Li Sylvana was always overcrowded, since it was where ALL the new players ended up going until about level 30 or so, (and depending on how often a person played, that could be a -long- time) but it was even more so because of the anniversary event taking place. Banners and posters were everywhere, and everyone was celebrating with smiles on their faces. Damien just about freaked then and there, not knowing how people would react if they saw his swords and tried to see his character information. Much to his surprise, however, everyone walked by him without even a second look. He saw a very friendly-looking harvest cleric in pale pink and asked her if she noticed anything strange about him.
“Strange? What do you mean?” the cleric asked, confused.
“Like…what do my weapons look like to you?”
“Like very simple daggers…are they not supposed to?”
“Oh no…they are…nevermind, thank you for your time.”
“No problem.” It dawned on him that his weird stats appeared as completely normal to everyone else; they only looked bizarre to him. Maybe he was crazy. But he pushed that idea out of his mind fast. The harvest cleric smiled at him, turning and walking toward a group of people that had gathered in the center of town. An NPC with ‘Taka-san’ over his head spoke to them with a booming, appreciative voice.
“Oh, I am so very happy! Players, thank you, ever so much! You have made us all at CC Corp happier than we could have ever known, with so many happy players happily playing our game! And so to show you our happiness and make you even happier, we are extending our special x10 EXP x10 MONEY event for a whole ‘nother day! Wooo!” The crowd cheered, presumably…well…happy. A bit irritated at the overusage of that…that word, Damien walked away from them, wondering if he could still gain EXP and MONEY if all of his stats were X-ed out. Did he even HAVE money? He pondered this as he headed toward a chaos gate, bumping into a female macabre dancer wearing a gorgeous blue-and-violet kimono. She carried a large metallic fan on her back, painted and decorated with floral designs as if it were a normal fan.
“Oh, sorry…wasn’t paying attention, I guess.”
“Oh, no problem, I wasn’t really paying attention either, heh. …Hey, did you just start today?”
“No, I’ve been playing for a while, why would you ask that?”
“…Your equipment’s all level 1.” she said, raising an eyebrow. “Well, no need to worry about that, this event is sure to pump up everyone!” She smiled warmly, putting her hand out for a shake.
“My IGN’s MurasakiHana, heh, I like colors and naturey things, but I go by Hana…or Murasaki, if you’re pretty uptight.”
“Nice to meet you, I’m Daedalus, go by Dae.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” Hana smiled, putting her hands on her hips. “You need any help finding your way around here or anything?”
“No, like I’ve told you…I’ve been playing for a while…This is, uh, my second character, I mean.”
“Ooooooh. Well why didn’t you just say so?” She laughed. “I’ll just let you be on your way, then. What’s your primary’s IGN? I’ll give you my member address.”
She was really testing his think-on-his-feet skills, it was getting tiresome, truthfully. “Uh, the thing is…” He thought for a moment, then swallowed. “I forgot my primary character. That’s why I had to make a secondary…I went on vacation for a while and I forgot all my stuff while I was away.”
“Aww, that sucks. Here, I’ll just add this one and I’ll help you level, if you want.”
‘Wow, she’s NICE,” Dae thought, beaming. “Sure, what the heck. Thanks a lot.”
“No problem, I don’t have much to do, anyway.” Hana added Dae to her Member List, and added him to her party. Dae walked towards the now rainbow-colored Chaos Gate and opened the Field Selection Screen.

Hana took Dae’s place and approached the Chaos Gate. Her brow quickly furrowed and she returned. “Hmmm….you’re right…Level 30 is a bit high for me, though, I’m only level 26.”
“Now what are we going to do?”
“What do you think we’re going to do? Who cares if we’re too low-leveled? We have to go to that field, it’s probably a secret event or something with a rare treasure inside!”
Dae looked skeptical for a minute, giving Hana a sort of ‘wtf?’ look, but decided it best if he went with her. He could use the leveling anyway.
Hana smiled at him again and the two of them marched to the Chaos Gate, selecting Mystical Time-Traveling Prelude as their field.
No, don’t go!
A voice rang in Dae’s ears, freezing him up for a second right before Hana warped the two of them.
“Did you just say something, Hana?”
“No…why?”
“Nothing, guess I was just imagining things.”
Hana shrugged and pressed the ‘Warp’ button, and off they went.
